They took pics of our rehearsal dinner, getting ready pics, wedding ceremony, reception, and a TTD session two days after the wedding :) All for a great price for the amazing quality of their work! We used Tammsphotos.com (Tammara and Grant) and I will post a full review once we get our pictures. We were able to see some pics on their cameras already and they were FABULOUS!! (plus the teaser one Tammara sent me that's in my siggy). Our entire experience with them so far has been 100% positive :)
Thats GREAT!!! I am Using TAMMS Photos Too! I can't wait!

I'm trying to figure out how many centerpieces to buy/bring.
I requested 7 round tables of 10. However, you can probably ask for a table that seats 8. What are you doing for your centerpieces?

OH YES, it fit our 37 VERY nicely and I'm sure could probably fit a couple more tables. We used 5 tables for dining, 1 cake table, 1 guest book table, buffet table, DJ had a table, lounge furniture set up and lantern structure over lounge area. Everyone loved it!

Vgirl- On what side of the resort is the terrace? Also, I have about 70 (+ a few more) people that will attend the wedding. Would you recommend that many to use the terrace, or would it be too crowded?

It's on the Grand side, however I think 70 people would probably be too many for that space. I'm sure your coordinator will have the max # of people allowed though.

Ok.. Ok.. i need help finding a hair style I like. I want to do half up and half down, but I cannot seem to find any that I like.. I am so nervous about this.
A half-up half down hairstyle is a pretty good idea. At least it will keep the hair out of your face is too windy.

You can seat your guests either in round or rectangular tables. They just quote you 400$ per 10 people. I even heard of a bride who had 32 and they just quoted her for 30 people rather than paying an extra 400$ for 2 people.

I'm expecting 30-35 guests so I'm just going to do either 3 long rectangular tables or 6 round tables. I'm using DecoCancun for the centerpieces so I'm trying to limit the number of tables as their centerpieces go up as high as $150 each.

VGirl, thanks SO much for sharing your slideshow. Everytime I see new pics from MP weddings, I get excited all over again! Love your wedding colors; the parasols gave the chapel a great look - very unique. Was that your aisle runner or theirs? I've seen in older photos that it was red. (If they've changed it, then I won't have to order one to hide the red.)

You looked incredible! I can't wait to read the review!!!

southern sweetie: you can either use their red runner, or the tan one in the chapel. no extra charge either!!

jodimichelle...im trying to figure out hair too. as far as i know, it will be hot humid and windy, and my hair is naturally very wavy!! and ill be on the beach!! i think im gonna do it up to be on the safe side. if i was in a chapel id probably do half up half down. post pics when you pic a style!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
