Hey ladies! We got back from our wedding at the resort last Saturday, and holy crap, it was amazing! Here's some info:   We got married at the Tulum gazebo and our coordinator was Jazmin. Two weeks

the royal gold club has an internet area you can use if you booked that area.

the have free wi-fi in the lobbies now. you can use your iphone, laptop if you bring one.

although...crazy thought...why bring your computer on vacation wink.gif

I did post on BDW from the golden club computers during my wedding week. I had forgotten a groom/mom dance song so I came on here for ideas! :)

All is good... i finally emailed my confirmation document back to Bijan... he wrote back almost immediately and addressed all my questions... so far he has been a breeze to work with.

Still no word from Jazmin though... I don't have a single email from her since April 2. I have given her a lot of slack since I know she's busy with weddings but I would think she could at least dedicate an hour or 2 each week to respond to emails. Boo.

Congrats to all the new Mrs!! I love the picts.

 

Here are some of our picts from our wedding at the Akumal. The welcome dinner was in the buffet, the cocktail hour was in the lobby bar, dinner was at the Italian and then we had dancing out side by the pool (but I do not think there any photos in this link but if you need some I can forward them).

Ugh I'm stuck on my programs/songs STILL! I need help! Can someone clarify my number of songs is correct (Trish, I know you said 6 songs but I'm wondering if you were the only one?)

 

1. Song for when guests are seated

2. Prelude (parents, groom)?

3. Processional (bride)?

4. Document signing (does this same thing go for the symbolic ceremony?)

5. Sand ceremony

6. Recessional

 

I am also in desperate need of program wording/ceremony order of events... I don't need anything too detailed.. just something so our guests can kind of follow along and know what's going on when. Does anyone have this for the symbolic ceremony? I've emailed Jazmin but she's not responding to my emails anymore! Help!?

I agree Bijan has been quite easy to deal with.

I was pretty insitent on sending her emails...3 in a week and she finally replied to my first one. I normally wouldn't have tried to get a hold of h er that often but I was worried about losing out on Bijan's services.
I know they are busy and another bride who got married there told me that she only has one day off. Has Paolma been any helpful??

Hang in there...your big day is almost here!!!

Hi guys,

Its been a while since I have posted, still trying to limit my resort down, I keep coming back to the Bahia principe with the intention on staying at Coba....I am still waiting for group pricing from our travel agent with the intention of getting married the first week of Feb. 2011. I am anxious to book and get the ball rolling. I have a few questions, I am looking for somewhat current prices for the wedding packages, pool side reception info., private function information, flowers prices etc. I clearly do not have enough posts to open the pdf documents (its very frusterating..I am working on getting enough though!). I was wondering if anyone had any of that information if they could email it to me at shyerone@hotmail.com I pretty much want to assess the costs, ensure I am making the right decision...the other closest resort in the running is the dreams tulum...however, quite expensive! eeek. Thanks for the help!.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
