They told me yes, I just have to buy him a day pass for like $92. I would make sure, however, that it's stated in your contract when the time comes, just to cover your @$$

We are bringing our photog from home, and they said it was not a problem, bc they are staying on the property for 3 nights

When I asked about an outside photographer they told me it wasn't allowed until I told them I wouldn't book unless I could have one.
I was told the photographer would need to stay a night at the hotel to attend the wedding. But I am having limited guests, I suppose they can get the pass if they are in your 20% off site guests.

Has anyone booked for 2011 yet?

We are planning Jan 2011 and I would like to book through the wedding through the website and probally the room through expedia, nothing is being offered for 2011 yet. They sent me an application I could fax for the wedding but I just want them to open it online.

Welcome!! Playacar Palace wasn't the most popular on here, for what ever reason, so the info was scarce until recently! Congrats & Best of Luck!

Hi Playacar Palace Brides! It's been a while since my last post... but should be here more often now - the wedding is only 6 months away - hurrah! We sent out our "Save the Date" info/invites this week - and our website is LIVE! The website was a lobaor of love - but hoping it will motivate friends and family to join us in November.

Tanya Marie - thanks for the idea of the using "Mexico" as the opening song on the site - I borrowed that from yours! Here's a peek - please feel free to use any info you find helpful!

Hi GracieLR,

You may have more luck working with a TA if you'd like to book for 2011 now. The great thing about working with a TA is they are there with you every step of the way to help with questions, planning assistance, etc. If you book with an online service (Expedia, etc) you won't have the same personalized service a TA can offer.

NO Problem, I am glad that you were able to use it! Your website came out great! Did the hotel or TA confirm that there weren't balconies in the "deluxe" categories? This is the first I am hearing this, and most of my guests are booked in that category.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
