Oot bags - avoids? $$$$

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the advice Jersey Kitten.

I think for people who are having a DW at an all inclusive resort, there is no need to add snacks and water since that is all provided for free, right? Sounds like cups, mugs, etc and the bags are all very useful though. And those recovery kits. Very cute idea!

Thanks Jerseykitten for the advice!!! Your bag of goodies look great!

What other meds aside from Tylenol would you recommend people would use? Where do you get those individual Tylenol and pepto?

The bags themselves - everyone used them all weekend as beach bags.

Mine were from VistaPrint but any bag is great.

The "big cup"

Although not insulated, it was a 42 oz GLOW IN THE DARK cup that everyone used all the time for their drinks. The Glow in the Dark was just an added fun thing. 12.99/dozen from Oriental Trading.

The Hangover Kits - so people didn't need to bring their own meds or if they needed more...especially after drinking from the big cup!

I think what we as the brides forget is that most of our guests haven't been to a Destination Wedding before - All of our guests were shocked to recieve their OOT bags and so appreciative of anything they recieved and at the effort we put into them.

haha this was supposed to say so darn expensive. Leave it up to my muddled midnight brain to sub in words.

Thanks for the advice osampad! I'll check out 4imprint. Not having much choices in Canada is super frustrating. I did an order from Oriental Trading which went well but shipping was like 3X as much as the states. oh well!

OOT bags can get pretty expensive fast. My budget for OOT bags is 10$ per bag. I will be stuffing my loot inside woven straw hats that my Dad manged to import from the Philippines 2 years ago. Here is what I will be putting inside:

Sunburn gel

Sunblock

Insect Repellant

Single dose packet of Tylenol

Towel

Hand Sanitizer

Flip-flop luggage tag

Welcome to Mexico brochure

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
