Hey everyone, just thought id come introduce myself. I've been lurking around this thread and the old thread for a while. And after some consideration of other venues, we have decided we want to have our wedding at las caletas. It looks so beautiful. We have booked a trip up there for february to check it out and make sure, And we will probably book then for our feb/march 2012 wedding. Those slideshows from nathaniel are gorgeous, I will definitely need to look into him as a photog, we were looking at using another photog who has offered us coverage of the whole week,rehersal, engagment shoot, newleywed shoot, trash the dress for $2000, plus travel, and we really love thier work. And are having hard times finding other photogs who would offer something around the same price. Who has everyone used for thier photogs? rough estimates of price you paid would be great too, I know we have a while to pick one, but i want to do that before the one we decide on gets booked.

 

I also have another question that maybe someone can help me with.... has anyone made an invite in powerpoint before i have mine all made, but i am having one heck of a time trying to figure out how to print it, we want to print them four to a page then cut them. What a headache.

kathy- I agree! Its pretty awesome. And we love thier work. Good price for all that photography but we have to purchase an album, disc with pics etc i think. So it may end up costing arounf the same as $4000.

 

Who are you using? Your weddings so soon! when do you leave?

Oh! I see, that is where they get you huh? lol

I am using Nathan Cordova like you were asking in the Shout Box thread! He is great! We got a chance to meet him when I was home for Christmas (He is from my home town)

He is awesome and very reasonable!!! You should get a quote from him!

and we leave on SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im def going to get a quote from nate cordova- i was stalking his blog earlier.

 

Then.... i went over to stalk Nathaniel Thompson's Blog and looked at the pics and slideshows of the recent wedding he posted but also an older one, Julia and John i think, And i am completely enamored with him! Anyone know his price range? Im expecting it to be on the higher end?

wow, 2012?! you will have a long time to plan your wedding. Can you even book a photog now for that far out? Especially with not even having a date locked down at Las Caletas? Have you spoken with Kelly over there already?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
