I even switched my package (to the complimentary one) and she never even acknowledged that email. My Miami coordinator sent me a new contract to sign & copied Angie on the email, but I haven't heard a word from Angie in weeks. I'm just not going to worry about it until the beginning of June.
Hi

As you know my wedding is the day after yours! Also, Angie is my WC as well. I have sent her questions and she has responded, but yes lately i haven't received any word. IF you want to know anything let me know, i might have already asked that question!
Our wedding date is approaching!!!!

I am not that worried, once we get there everything will get settled and I know they do a wonderful job!!

Thanks for the article! Everyone has their opinions and no matter where and when you get married people will ALWAYS have their opinions. My cousin had a huge wedding prob cost like 80 if not more. Her flowers were like 15 grand i think.. Anyway, even how nice it was i heard other guests complaining over stupid shit!

THOUGH In reality it should be all about the Bride and Groom. It is their day and it is a special day. I Feel that some people don't realize that. My fiance and I decided on a destination wedding bc it was something WE wanted to do. Also-We didn;t want to have a wedding in NYC bc it cost a ridiculous amount of money and we wanted to buy a house! So for us it was the best choice!

We are grateful for the friends and family members who are attending and I AM a little disappointed in some family members that have a poor excuse.

All in all it is OUR (all of us) day!!!!

Hi Ladies,

We are just about to book Moon Palace for April 8, 2011. We anticipate that some of our guests will be bringing young children. I understand that the Kids Club is for children 4 yrs and up - anyone have any idea whether or not they offer babysitting for younger children? I've tried looking around their site and haven't seen anything about this.

Also - I noticed that the contract we have says we will get contacted by the onsite wedding coordinator 30 days prior to the wedding - but I have seen lots of people on this site who get contact 60 or 90 days in advance - anyone else just offered just 30 days?

Thanks!!

MRhoades: Great OOT Bags. love all the contents and your use of the monogram! Great job!

Indy_Chic: That sucks! First lesson in writing anything of length....always do it in a word document and save periodically. The internet and our computers are so unpredictable....it is always best to save a copy of your work in a file....even if just briefly. When you run tot he bathroom or for aquick beer during your typiing....and a especially typing for 2 hours....your internet window is going to "time out" on you. I can't wait to read your review!!!

Blondy: The contract and website all say 30 days prior. HOWEVER, as you have noticed, most of us are in contact with a WC long before our actual wedding....or even 30 days. I have been speaking to my WC since November of last year. Of course, when I say speaking....I mean about 3 emails with some of the more important questions mapped out.....not a giant onslaught of questions that can really honestly wait until 3 months prior. It's really not bad at all...you just have to be patient and pleasantly persistant as they can be very busy.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm off to find new job....getting laid off in a month! Gotta start the hunt today!!! Wish me luck!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
