Haha, I bought it at Walmart for like $8! I did buy it for him, and when Aaron wore it around my dad one day (when I wasn't around) my dad was all concerned that I'd get mad at Aaron for wearing it!! rofl!

I LOVE the Portofino Bruschetta...one of my faves at Dreams. Also, I didn't think the buffet tres leches was nearly as good as the wedding cake tres leches...just an fyi.

Oh, thanks for the fyi on the tres leches. I thought it was good in the buffet, they had it in a few different ways, but overall I thought it was good. I guess I'm in a for a pleasant surprise on my wedding day!

I told Aaron that I had a hair trial at Las Ventanas! We had our engagement pictures the evening before and poor Aaron wore his jeans and a long-sleeve dress shirt and he was so tired by the end of it... so when I left the next morning for my "hair trial" he was still sleeping anyways!!

OK so I asked this of someone else but how did you get the room upgrade did you have to ask?
jackie, alot of times you dont even have to ask...if they have it available they'll usually give it to you...almost 1/2 my guests were upgraded w/o even asking.

No, they upgraded us on check-in. You can ask for an upgrade, but then I'm sure they'd charge you - we didn't get charged extra for the upgrade.

Ok thank you ladies, I'm not really worried about it, rooms arent generally a big deal to me, we rarely spend much time in our romm when we are on vacation but Juan keeps reminding me how important it is for the bodour pics to have a decent room with decent lighting. I told him I'd try my hardest but I'm not willing to pay extra, it is after all just our site visit.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
