here are my invites - what do you think?!

I wanted to substitute the Mexican trio for the iPOD speakers, however, that is not possible. Ana told me the only substitution they are allowed to do now is flower changes. For example, I am getting 3 bridesmaid bouquets instead of table arrangements because I have my own centerpieces.

I have decided to keep my decorations very simple. I was going to do chair sashes, but then decided that it will look great regardless because of the setting so I did not want to stress myself out over who would put them on the chairs. I also thought that having the overlays would be enough at the reception, so I will not be doing chair sashes there either.

I received some new pictures from Ana.... one of which I believe is possibly Carina from this forumhuh.gif She also sent me the link to Juan Nevarra's blog, and he still is taking pictures for Dreams. Maybe he is only doing the weddings that were confirmed before the switch to Adventure photos?? I am not sure, but his pictures look really great.

I'm getting the Ultimate Wedding Package - is there somewhere that I am overlooking included centre pieces. The only florals for the tables that I saw that were included in the package were the ones for the ceremony table and the bride and grooms table at the reception. This is why I out sourced for my center pieces for the guests tables at the reception. Just wanted to check if those were the only table arrangements you were referring to for the bouquet trade-off and that i am not overlooking something. Thanks

I emailed the resort photographers and they said they'd love to do a TTD. Anel said that it could be included with my ceremony session cost, even if they did it the next day. I'd only have to pay for extra pictures if I wanted more than 50 (which I will!). They said other brides have done this before so they are comfortable shooting TTD. I wanted an example but didn't get one. Hope that helps!

Awesome! I'm going with the free package because I have very few guest coming so anything I choose to do will cost $. Claudia's TTD session is $1000 and Juan is $700. Do you mind sharing the resort photographers email with me so I can see what they charge? I've already hired Claudia for my pics so I don't want to shell out too much more money but I know it will be soooo worth it! :) Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
