Moon Palace 2010 Brides!!

All my guests have taken the news really well. I'm the only one that had a major freak out moment. Everyone just kept reminding me that this was a planned murder......it was not a random act of violence. The man that did it is now in jail (in the US)…so no one is on the lose. I read in the news this morning, they were all ready having marriage problems and she met him down there with the kids to try and “fix†their problems. The whole thing sounds very premeditated to me. It would be different and I would be getting the heck out of there if it were an employee or someone who was a part of the drug rings going on right now. I did talk with my travel agent yesterday as soon as I saw the news about going to a different Palace resort, and she said that was possible if we wanted to. So if you are really worried about it, you might look into that. We decided we are just going to stay at the Moon Palace. My travel agent made a good point, the only reason you heard about this one, was because of who he is.

I would try not to worry about it to much (I know it’s hard). It sucks……..it has put a little stress on all of us…..but there isn’t to much we can do about it.

We leave on Sunday ...at first I was wondering how everyone would handle this. But it hasn't seemed to bother anyone - I guess because of the circumstances surrounding it.

I think everyone will be okay after the initial shock of hearing the news, and the circumstances...We don't leave until the end of June, so hopefully it will all be settled and everyone at ease by then. Hope you have a great wedding Indychic!!!! Congrats!

i know it seems shady...but think of all the crime that happens here in the states right under our noses. there is crime everywhere =(

Hopefully, this will be an open and shut case. Even before this, my guests were expressing concern about travel to Mexico and my wedding isn't even until next year!
