It was on the American site. I've mailed Alfred Angelo over here to see if they are going to be getting it.. fingers crossed!

Thanks for solving the mystery on where its from! x

Well now i have added some blue sparkles which i hope isnt too much, and added some aqua ribbon to the clip section so it covers where i stuck the flower on.... what do you think?

I have obviously still got to go for some sort of hair trial to have it put in properly but you can maybe get the general idea?

Is it too tacky?

Thanks

Arrr Nicy i think it looks really lovely. It adds that personal touch! So clever and it looks lovely in your hair now so once styled it'll look great! I'm going shopping tomorrow (shops shut today as it's easter sunday) so i might pop in a few shops and look out for hair bits ;o) x

I'm stuck with jewellery..... As my dress has sparkles and detail at the top i dont know if a necklace will be to much or not...... I might have to shop around see if i like anything and then just try it at my fitting? I dont want to spend loads to then not wear it! I may just go with a braclet and earrings.... It's hard deciding isn't it?

Nicyx - i dont think its tacky at all - looks really good. I am going to try and do something similar for my BM. You have inspired me now!!!! Just a shame all the shops are shut today.

Michelle - i know what you mean about jewellery as my dress is very sparkly around the middle and i have a tiara so dont want to go OTT with the 'bling' - FI mum works in a jewellers so may see if they have some cheap v small pendants.

Awww, thanks ladies... Really really pleased you like it :-) Im made up now.... Glad i have inspired you josietoms :-)

As for jewellery, to be honest if it sparkles at the top i would be inclined to go with just earrings and bracelet :-)

But like you say you could just go and get a cheap neckless to take with you on dress fittings to see what you think then that way your not spending too much money on something you may not wear and then if it looks good you could go buy and the real thing :-)

Or you could maybe go with a neckless that dosent sparkle as such but still makes a statement and wear a matching bracelett? Maybe pearls or something as they can be sublte but still add that extra something? Just an idea!! or like josietoms said a V. small pendent on a neckless?

Sorry in reply to an earlier post Michelle, yes i definatly think everything will be more settled when its all booked :-) Funny really as today nothing is freaking me out at all, but yesterday i was worried about everything!!! haha :-)

How are you girls getting your dress to the resort, are you taking it as hand luggage? Im definatly taking me as carry on as i would be so so worried about it the whole journey there... and i would be worried about it "getting lost" Ive read a few different ideas on this, and was just wondering what you guysa are doing?

Yeh i just dont want to look OTT. I dont think i'm going to have a tiara although i like them. I will prob go with a flower or something. I will take your advice Nicy and josietoms and try a pendant/necklace at my fitting....

As for getting the dress there...... My friend who wed in Mexico last Sept was told she could NOT have her dress as hand luggage! She had to pack it in her suitcase!!!! When i bought my dress the lady that owns the shop said they actually pack the dress for you. In a hand luggage case with special tissue paper that prevents creasing! She said in the summer it's like Heathrow with all the cases as DW's are becoming more popular. I told her about my friend not being aloud and she said just dont tell them it's your wedding dress! So that's what i'm planning to do. She said "you will be suprised what we can fit into a hand luggage case" so i have faith in them to do it for me :o) Sorry for jabbering on lol....x

Hello Ladies!! I've finally made a decision on a resort due to so many available options. I choose Moon Palace Golf & Spa. I've read wonderful reviews on this forum from past brides about MP. My WC strongly recommended them as well. I've reserved my date and signed a contract with MP. Now just anxiously waiting for a confirmation. Although my wedding isn't till October 2011, I like the idea of early planning for there is so much to do. Can't wait to receive my confirmation so I can start making my STD's. Thank you all for posting your experiences and/or suggestions. It's been very helpful. Keep the reviews coming ladies!!!

-Sheila

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
