Maybe it's labelled $450 because that's how much it would be if you weren't doing the Ultimate package? She should really explain this though instead of just sending it like that!

I'm also wondering if this means that there are only two different cake options? I can't think that is right, but then why would she only send you two cakes... I know for other Dreams resorts I have seen quite a few different cake options, depending on the package you go with.

Do I have to pay the $450 or is that included in my pkg? anyone know about this!!!
Cake for 20 people is included in the Ultimate package. How many people are you having? Either the prices listed are the price you have to pay if your not getting the package, OR maybe she factored in how many people you will be having and changed the price??
I'm doing the Ultimate package too. We will probably have 30-40 people but I'm not going to upgrade the cake. I'm just sticking with the cake for 20 people. Not everyone will want cake anyway and what will I do with the extra??

Hello ladies,

So does anyone know much about the night club/disco that is at the resort? I am considering just going there for the reception party instead of hiring a DJ. Anyone know if kids can get into the night club? Just not sure how fun it will be? Also thinking of renting a bus to take everyone into PDC that night. Not sure. Just looking for ways to save $$!!

Another question ladies. Inviations. Who are you sending them to and when? Will they be part of your OOT bags? Sending them in the mail before the wedding just to people coming or everyone? Do I really need to do an invitation at all? Obviously everyone coming, knows why they are there....

Hi Lori,

I did a wedding website and emailed it to all of my guests(just close friends and fam, around 30). There is a spot to rsvp for our Mexico wedding and a spot for our at home reception. After I find out who all can come to MX I am going to send invites to them. I will probably send them in Sept as my wedding is Nov 30th. I will send invites for our AHR to all. I am giving the oot bags at the resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
