i heard back from angie (after sending an e-mail earlier today telling her of my frustration with her).

she's going to TRY to fit us in on the beach at the site of our ceremony. i am sooooooo excited and really (really!!) hope it works! i should know within an hour.

the ballrooms do not have windows, so i'm dreading the thought of having the reception in an interior room. please work, please work. if angie pulls through, i'll consider it major redemption for her!

I totally LUCKED OUT!!! The same day that I had an appointment at the bridal store he had a trunk show going on as well. He is the designer of the my dress and he helped me pick it out. He was so nice in person and HONEST. I appreciated his honesty the most. When he saw me in some of the dresses I tried on, he was like "Oh no, definitely not, take it off". It was such a wonderful experience!
That is incredible! lucky girl :-)
I love watching his wedding show, he is awesome!

Dianep I am so excited for you! This might just redeem my faith as all of you have been saying that even though there is a bit of drama dealing with the US WC everything works in the end...smile36.gif

I have my fingers crossed and looks forward to your review!

Okay, I'm drawing a blank now on who mentioned it, but I think maybe jesmcan...how much extra were they going to charge to add jumbo shrimp on top of the beef filet for the dinner? Aja just told me it would be $15 per resort guest and $30 non resort guest. I'm talking about like 2 or 3 shrimp each...not a whole plate!!! I just think that is outrageous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
