Welcome & congrats! If y'all decide on the Royal, this is definitely the place to find anything & everything!

My travel agent says she has booked us through the resort but can't give us a final price still...

Maybe I should e-mail one of the WC (Suzanna was mine but apparently she doesn't work there anymore)...but maybe they can give me like a time frame..is it weeks or months away...
I know you got your answer from Carole, but I just kept calling the hotel reservation number and they told me when to check back. 1-800-760-0944

Quite a few of mine booked through Expedia, too, so I guess we'll see sad.gif I just didn't want to have to pay a T/A when I had already done so much of the leg work researching resorts. Plus I didn't think we'd have 20-30 who actually were able to come! Oh well...

Thanks so much for sharing the answers you got from Angie! That's nice that they'll match the included centerpiece to your bouquet. I'm not doing a bouquet through the resort so maybe I can just tell them my colors & they'll match that??

I think I'll take my chances w/the tres leches cake, too. Jesmcan's review just made it sound too good to pass up. Even melted, ha!

Sooooo pretty!! Great job on your big bargain, too!!!! I would love to do heels, but my reception is in the garden so I'd be totally sinking!

I've been trying to find some awesome wedges bc I have a short dress so I don't want to wear flats

I'm not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but can you get the light up dance floor w/o the dj? I can't remember if this was discussed awhile back.

We're doing the ipod thing in the garden area and planning on no dance floor since the wood planks are not gonna work for our dancing group, but the more I think about it, the more I want that light up dance floor.

Also try Dallas Bridal Boutique, Bridal Shop, Bridal Gowns, Veils, Bridal Accessories Circle Park is right by Addison Airport. They are very well priced and have tons of dresses. They sale everything off the rack but their dresses are in prestine condition. They take really good care of their dresses and they have mostly 8's and 10's in size. Worth a walk through!

I was wondering the same thing. I need to schedule appointments in the morning and wasn't sure how early they open.

so, i asked for a quote for a flower centerpiece without a vase...it's all hot pink roses in a vase. they are $70 each WITHOUT the vase. that is really crazy so i am going with a local florist who is quoting me $55 each with a vase rental. i had wanted this style of the cake but they said no on that. i'm really annoyed...it is my wedding, not their wedding. its starting to feel like a wedding factory to me. i am starting to think that i should have just booked my wedding at non inclusive wedding resort so i can have control over the details. oh well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
