he is on itunes and on amazon - the good thing though is you book directly with him its the same price and you get the mp3 of all the songs also - I got them with my confirmation of shippment email, which gets big props from me

Oh and here is a brain pickle - we finally booked our flight and hotel (woot woot) half of the family booked via expedia.ca and the other thru westjetvacations.com
the booking confirmation thru westjetvacations.com actually mentions the golf promotion!!! why does nothing stay the same? anyhow just thought it was super funny so I would share

For us I believe sunset time was 5:15 or 5:20 somewhere around there. There was another wedding booked same day at 4 pm (reception is at Secrets Maroma) so we had to choose 2 pm, otherwise I may have wanted 3 pm, but probably not later. Ceremonies (no legal) I believe tend to run around 20-30 minutes. Also assuming that things will run a little behind schedule - I would factor in another 30 min. of bright light as a buffer.

Happy planning!

I think sunset for my day (Feb 26th) was at 5:51. Originally Ana had suggested 5 pm and I trusted her judgment so I went with that. My photographer, however, said that 5 would be too late to get all of the pictures in afterwards so I asked Ana and we switched the time to 4:30. Ana was late meeting everyone in the lobby and getting them to the ceremony site, so the ceremony didn't start until close to 5. We got all of our pictures in but it was a little rushed because Claudia was worried about the lighting. It wasn't a big deal, but if I had to do it again, I would have made the ceremony a little earlier - maybe 4:15?? Sooo, my suggestion would be to start the ceremony maybe 1/2 hour sooner than what you originally thought and then if things run late, you won't be stressed. And if things are on time, you will just have more time for pictures!! :)

Okay, then the sunset on my wedding day is 5:56pm , and our ceremony is set for 4 pm. That should work just fine!

Oh girl I'm with ya on that! All of my guests that have booked have on thier confirmations that they get complimentary golf...so this could be entertaining...my TA hasn't been able to get anything else from the resort other than the fact that they're switching courses...which brings up a funny point...cause all our confirmations say the first course that was posted on the website and it's changed twice already. ahhh lovely.

My TA spoke with his Dreams rep today and was told that the original golf course pulled out of the contract, so that is why golf is not included. However, they are looking to find another golf promotion. He suggested that we wait it out to see what happens (if they do in fact find another golf course) and if they don't have the golf we will throw a stink closer to the time of the trip. He think we need to pick our battles and wait this one out.

The technician did have good timing! When we gave Ana the CD's (we gave her 2, one with music for seating of the guests and one with ceremony music- bridal party processional, bride processional, and recessional), we told her when we wanted the music played. They did a good job!

Did you guys go with a TA, call the hotel, have ppl book online? This is my main priority right now and the source of much anxiety...any help would be appreciated! grouphug.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
