Help do you do couple's Itinerary??

Recommended Posts

I agree with your FI. We had no clue what we were doing every day at 5pm when we went for our wedding. Who cares? Be flexible, its your vacation too. Do what you wish and if guests want to hang out with each other they'll find each other. Our guests knew basically where we were at the resort if they needed to find us or wanted to hang out. We did a couple of excursions together, but we didn't decide on them until we got down there. Planning every minute of a vacation is no fun for people, including yourself!

i tend to agree with your guy on this one; just let everyone do their own thing you will probably end up doing quite a few things together without any forward planning. Although the wedding is our most important day we have to remember a lot of guests will have saved hard to be at the wedding so are also treating it as their holiday; not just a wedding.

Hello! I'm doing something similar - I copied a "Good Morning Newsletter" from Martha Stewart - and we're going to have the hotel put them under our guests doors in the mornings - I'll attach it for you. But essentially it's got a space for "suggested activity" and then "Today's big deal" - which would be where you'd remind guests about the welcome party or any other group activity you may have had planned. I've attached it for you - it's a powerpoint so you can easily customize it for yourselves.

How many people are coming to your wedding and how big is your resort? I would maybe create a "home base" place where people can meet up if they want to hang out during the day - like near the pool with the pool bar - and somewhere at night - like the tequila lounge!

My hotel is SMALL (98 rooms) so i assume we'll all find eachother very easily!

Is your hotel charging you for them putting the newsletters under the door? I've heard that sometimes they won't do these types of things if it's a big resort...

DRC will do it - but they charge. I might delegate the task to my dad since he wakes up at 5am anyway...hahaha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
