Oh my gosh, this makes me sad! They don't get days off? Don't I feel lazy for taking today off. Good to know, however. Ladies, let's try to remember this!

i have a few questions about the FREE PKG..

*are any of you all booking the master suite to get the free package??

*the free pkg includes the minister right?

*does the free pkg include the decorating of the gazebo with their white fabric, etc??

*free pkg says includes champagne toast, is that just for bride and groom?

*the resorts DJ is $850 for 3-4 hours service, is that DJ good? does he announce everything? was this the price for 2009, since that is when i booked/signed wedding contract?? or is this 2010's pricing?

*are the speakers/sound system included with ceremony in Free pkg?

*if we do free pkg, and add on 3 hr private reception, is it the 3 course menu? and if we want a salad or entree from a different menu, can we get those options instead?

sorry, i know a bunch of questions, but i am kind of with some of you girls that decided to go with free pkg and add on a la carte! i am thinking i am not going to use a lot of the things included in luxury package, and am thinking about changing this soon. so i wanted to find out as much as possible before i make my final decision! any help is much appreciated! :))

BTW, I'm getting married in November now (day before Thanksgiving); after almost changing resorts, and going over pricing, we decided to stay. November was almost HALF the accomodations/flight cost of January, and although my original date of Jan 1 would have been cool, we decided this would make it possible for some of our guests who were on the fence. I'm also very glad that response from WC has improved 200 % :-).
Ricky told me he saw this on facebook!! msnwink.gif I'm so glad your photog & DJ were available for the new date!!!!! WOOT!!

-we booked master suite oceanfront for 7days to get free package. the room looks AMAZING. once we saw pics, we decided we'd much rather spend the money on that rather than on stuff we didn't really need for the wedding. (have y'all booked your room, yet? my week/weekend and yours is pretty much full, especially the free pkg rooms eek.gif)
-yes, free pkg includes non-denom minister or JOP
-I'm not 100% on the included gazebo decorations, but I'm assuming they're included.
-yes, champagne toast only includes bride & groom so just add $5 to the reception cost per guest
-don't know about DJ; using iPod
-again not 100%, but I'm pretty sure the sound system is included. If not, its around $80. I feel like I heard that somewhere but don't remember where.
-yes, private recep add-on is 3hr/3 course menu. I'm sure you can substitute for an upgrade price or something.

Sorry if that's not too much of a help, I just wanted to throw out what I had. Good luck!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
