LOL! A bottle for tonight to sulk and then a glass for tomorrow to focus, I like it :) friday.gif

Basically it's a sexy, lingerie, pin-up (or whatever you want to wear) photoshoot of you for your future husband. I did one in January with lingerie and I'm having my photographer put together a nice leatherbound book with inscriptions in it and it will be given to him on our wedding day by my MOH while he's getting ready. It's his wedding gift from me :)

A lot of us girls are doing it, it seems to be growing in popularity.
LOVE this! Can you tell me who you used in LA? And if you don't mind me asking what you paid? Thinking about doing one too, now. You all have the best ideas.

Also, since we're both local if you're looking to unload any of your great DIY projects maybe I can take them off your hands:) I have so many great ideas but between my work hours (being a publicist seems to be a 24/7 job) and a 7 month old at home finding it really hard to get anything done. Youall are very inspiring though.

PS, here I am posting at work again. Ahh. What I wouldnt give for one Saturday all to myself.

Sure! I used Chris Schmitt Photography, he's a BDW vendor.

Here's the link to his blog, that's one of my BD photos to give you an idea What to give the guy who has everything? A Budoir Photoshoot | Chris Schmitt Photography Blog

When you contact him, let him know that Amy Fitch sent you and you are my BDW friend, he knows me, I bug him all the time :) He ended up doing this shoot for me for free, I'm just paying for the book.

He did our engagement photos as well and is traveling to Mexico for no charge, he's great to work with and I highly recommend him. Here are some of our engagement photos: Union Station Engagement Pictures | Chris Schmitt Photography Blog

Yeah sure! When I returned I'll do an inventory of what I have left over and let you know, we could grab coffee (or a drink) and you can ask me 1,000 questions if you want friday.gif

Ah yes, taking the full day to knock out some wedding stuff does feel great! That's cool you're a publicist, I imagine you must be very busy all the time!

I spent about 5 hours one night making notes in the comment boxes below each page of what I wanted changed/added. I wrote an inscription and put some quotes and song lyrics on some pages. I put my heart and soul into it and really took the time to make it good.

I was really proud of it and did it about a month ago and just emailed my photog because I never got the updated online proof.

So I clicked "send changes" and it sent it off to him and I heard back from him today... there's NO info in there. He never got any changes and now I can't even remember what I said, quotes I used or any changes at all... I'm so upset, this is devastating ugh!

So I thought since so many of you girls have this shoot coming up, if you make any changes/inscriptions/quotes - keep a separate record of it just in case, I highly regret this now. frown.gif
Oh no Amy!! I am sooo sorry. Did you trying checking the history on your computer and clicking on the link where you are working on ithuh.gif? I hope the wine helped!!!!!!! xoxoxo

1) ORDER dress

2) Bridesmaids dresses

3) Figure out what I want to do for invitations! anyone have any suggestions?

4) Get my passport...I know, I know.

5) Help my mom with dress

6) Send out email to bridesmaids/groomsmen about booking by April 15th!

7) Order wedding shoes (this has been on my list for months...inexcusable)

cool.gif FI added a few people to our list...send out remaining STD's...once again, inexcusable

9) Book engagement photos/BD shoot (She has openings in April and May....can I get in tip top shape in 2 months? Is that even possible? Amy, help!)

10) Crack down on my diet/workout. This traveling is killing me!!!!!!!!

Added to the list!!

Girl you need to order your dress ASAP :) That takes awhile sometimes so just relax, pick a day and start knocking stuff off this list.
Quick question, you want to have people book by April 15th? That's the tax day due date, so maybe change it to April 20th just so it's not associated with something negative :)
You absolutely can get in tip top shape in 2 months. Just make yourself a workout program and diet and STICK TO IT! You are already in FAB shape my dear, much better than me so I wouldn't worry too much.

You'll be fine girl, you just need to set aside the best days possible to work on wedding stuff, that's what FI and I do and we don't stop until something is completed!

Oh thank you so much for reminding me about tax day! DUH!!!! They just need to book by May 1st so I don't owe ANOTHER deposit. But if I say May 1st, you know they will put that off.

I am going to order my dress THIS weekend! No excuses!!!!!!!

I may be in decent shape...except for this GUT!! GRoss!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
