May 2010 Brides!

Luckily no nightmares for me yet, just frustrated with the WC with Beaches has been the biggest amount of stress for me I think.

Finally all of my bridesmaids are booked! About time. I can't say for my FI's groomsmen...still two need to book.

 

I think we all go through with that...our resort's US WCs are a mess!

That's great!! talk about being in the wrong business, mine are $500!!! I'm gonna go broke from alterations.

Like you, KittenHeart, my dress was too big so I have to go for 2 more fittings. booo.

Di - That's wonderful that your girls are all booked!! I have all my bridesmaids booked except one that is quite questionable right now. 2 of FI's groomsmen bailed, really sad. We're totally uneven but I don't care anymore

 

I have 3 more guests to book and then done, it's a relief to almost be finished booking people!

A bridal store here in Houston will be having a trunk show of his dresses on March 26th...hmmm, should i go and check out?

Oh really? They just had a trunk show 2 weeks ago at the bridal store I bought my dress from. I went there to pick up my dress and they were there... both times I've been to that bridal salon it was his trunk show! Clearly meant to be... although I met him and he measured me for my dress when I was there last year and he wasn't there 2 weeks ago.

Why not! His dresses are sooo pretty and unique

Did it make you mad when the groomsmen bailed? We just had a groomsman bail last night, and even though he says he really wanted to go, but just can't afford it, a part of me feels a little hurt because he's known about this since October of '08 at least... and how could he not save??

 

Sorry, actually we had 3 groomsmen bail.

Mad? I'm am piiiiissssed. These people had over 2 years to save, plan etc. One of them has tons of money and says he can't get time off work (which is BS) he's going to a DW a month prior for 2 days and a girl he works with is coming to my wedding for 5 with no issues. The next groomsman literally fell off the face of the earth, I haven't heard from him in a year so, bye bye. The third groomsmen didn't tell me he was coming until I emailed him letting him know I bought a tie for him and then trying to say he told my FI he wasn't coming, which he didn't. Soooo... yeah, good old flakey men.

I had a lot of fickle people, originally had 65 RSVP, down to now 40 booked so a lot of people have a lot of lame reasons. No I'm not bitter... hahaha

one of FI's cousins cant go because he started a new job which is understandable...i have 7 girls all booked and he only has 3 booked and 2 still need to book. Yikes. we are thinking of asking my bm's husband to step in so it won't look so lopsided.
