FH's Wedding Attire

Recommended Posts

Alright, I am a little nervous right now. My FH finally got his suit in today, and got fitted for it and its being altered now. Well, I gave him some ideas of what I wanted, but that is it. He did the rest on his own and he does not want me to see what it looks like till we see each other for the first time while walking down the aisle. I think this is sweet, but I am also worried that I am going to hate what he is wearing.

Before me, he dressed terribly, I have helped him out with the way he dresses and he looks much better now. But, I am so scared that he will revert back to his old ways or something.

Am I being silly, are/did other people let their FH surprise them? He really wants to surprise me, and I am really scared about this. Am I crazy?

I do care what he wears though, not sure why. I guess its because of how he used to dress, trust me it was bad. I want us both to look great on the day and in pictures.

He is being so sweet as well, our colours are pink and chocolate brown and ivory, and he said he did not care what the colours were as long as he did not have to wear pink. I said no, white and tan was good. Well, he tells me that he got a pink and white striped shirt and a brown tie. That sounds like it could be nice and it goes with our colours, but I am scared, what if its tacky? He said he is going to look amazing and he loves the outfit. Should I just trust him. I want to, but I am freaked out inside.

Maybe I am just a controll freak and want to know what he is wearing. lol I have no idea.

That is a great idea. He might show my sister. BUT, how do I ask him to do that without telling him why I am asking him? His GM's are no help either, none of them dress very well. lol

Oooh, I like that. Huh, I wonder if he will go for it. He might just tell me he wants a white flower, that is something he would say. lol

I will talk to my sister about it tonight and see if I can get him to show her. I hope it works.

Hahahahaa, sometimes men have a hard time with clothes. What he picked out sounds nice though, but I know what you mean. I told Matt he could pick out whatever he wanted, with my approval. (Cuz first he wanted to not wear a shirt, then he wanted to wear a tuxedo t-shirt).

Maybe you can have your sister ask him in private and he wouldn't even know you were doubting him? Or just tell him, you want it to be perfect, so please can xxx see what you bought? I promise I won't ask anything else regarding your clothes. Something like that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
