OMG! I tried on my dress yesterday! After a long wait of 7 months for it to come, I finally got to try it on and it is mine! I'm so happy and I love it more today then when I bought it! My BM is emailing the pictures to me tomorrow and I'll post them here as soon as I get them! Some Alterations will need to be done (after losing weight the top is way to big) but I'm so freaking happy! It's becoming really real now! 4 months to go!

They actually have to bring it up from 3 different points on the dress to make it look even. If they just take the middle of the train and bring it up, it leaves like "wings" on the sides.. Heres how it looks like that.. hard to see from the picture..

So if you decide to get the bussle make sure they bring it up from the middle and the 2 sides of the train to make it look pretty cheesy.gif
Thanks IslandBride!
That really helps a lot.

I ordered the Ivory dress with a gold band around the waist instead of the burgundy in the picture i've posted. I am not a sweaty person, but with the heat in mexico in May i am hoping i will not have sweat marks through the satin. Cross your fingers for me ... My MOH promised she'd be on "sweat patrole" and talked me into getting the dress!

Here's a few of my dress! It's the same one as Carolina! Too funny they came in at the same time! I ordered the dress in IVORY and was suprised at how white it is but I'm super happy with it! If you're looking for a dress that gives you a wicked shape but is light weight enough you won't totally melt down south...this is definitely a great choice! For those Toronto girls....I ordered mine from Bridal and Beyond!

What do you think?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
