This is too funny, reading all of these dreams aka nightmares.

My dreams haven't been too vivid, but one I didn't have shoes and in another dream I forgot my dress. =)

I had my first fitting last Thursday and it was great. No alerations needed, just a hem =)

But it's still $225 to do the hem. I need to talk to her for the second fitting, because I was capped at $275...and there is no way IF I did need alterations, that it would only cost me $50 more dollars...I'm in the wrong business...this is where the money is LOL!

For me they feel more like nightmares... the commonality is forgetting key things or being lost... LOL, I feel like that awake too at this point!

I'm so jealou your dress fit... My dress was suppsed to fit and it was big on me, I had no intentions of needing alterations and I don't feel like my size is any different but now I have 3 additional appointments and a whole other bill.. yarg.

Just had another weddingmare last night!!! That we were at the reception and everyone was late, and I was calling people to come but it seemed like no one wanted to come to the reception, and then I looked down and noticed that I was in a t-shirt and jeans and not my dress... (lol) so I tried to get my bridesmaids to come back to the room with me to help me put my dress on but they were all pre-occupied with drinking and visiting so I went alone! And the food at the reception was terrible... what a bad dream. lol.

KittenHeart - I h ope they don't charge you an arm and a leg for the alterations. Which designer did you go with for the dress and the TD?
Cara, my dreams are similar! Everyone is too busy to help me, everyone is partying too much!

I'm sure they will... my designer is Matthew Christopher.

So i got a few things marked off the list yesterday!

-painted my maracas

-painted wooden hangers for part of my BM gifts to say "bridesmaid" "maid of honor" for their dresses

-put the ribbon around the handles of my raffia fans and attached an orchid

-tied blue/pink ribbon on my bubbles for the end of the ceremony

-made my starfish pins that will be attached to the chair bows at the ceremony...

whew! Trying to get lots done now so I'm not freaking out the 1st week in May!

Thank you! I have the 2009 Collection Lalique dress, the fitted mermaid that's one of his non-layered dresses.

You did get a lot done!!! What an adorable idea, hand painted wooden hangers for your bridesmaids/MOH dresses, I would have never thought of that!

I have been working out more, tanning now, teeth whitening & getting a chemical peel/facial once a month. I am using Bobbi Brown facial moisturizer and eye cream now too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
