I actually already got my dress. It was everything I ever wanted in a dress (and it was a sample so I got if for 70% off.) I love everything about it except for the fact that I am all boobs in it. Ha. Loking to create more of an hour glass figure. Figured I could wear a corset or spanks would do. I was looking in Macy's last week for a shaper and the woman who worked there suggested Body Magic. I thought it was odd that she would point me in that direction considering that Macy's doesn't sell it but thought that it was worth looking into.
I don't have experience with either the one you asked about or Body Magic. In the past I have used both Spanx and Shapewear by Dr. Rey. I liked both of them but perhaps the Shapewear a little more. Spanx is really good if you're in the market for tights, though.

I have the opposite problem! I am so tiny and have no boobs that I'm having padding put in my dress! I'd rather have your problem!

I am bringing an ipod and we are going to rent their sound equipment which is $250 for four hours and $75 for an additional 1.5 hours. If you bring your own DJ, you will be charged an additional $500 from Karisma.

Too bad you mentioned this now! I am getting married July 2nd too! I would have been interested in that but I have booked Claudia. What time are you getting married at and where are you having your ceremony and reception?

I don't think Claudia posts links that are not on the website. I know Bree got married at AB in October, and used Erick, but her pix never went up on the site. Perhaps the wedding couple chooses not to?

You should check out Mexican Wedding Photos (link on the ads here), they have a few AB and AS weddings to view. Also, the wedding pix on this site from other brides even at other resorts and outside of Mexico I found helpdful.

I think I over looked at pictures when I was too early in the planning process and confused the hell out of myself. I changed my mind like every day.

Now I am doing simple white sheets on the wedding chuuppah and white Gladiolas in big vases at the base of the front posts. Wooden wedding plank and uncovered chairs without bows. I think I am going for the simple look?

I really wish I had a theme.... I saw Alice in Wonderland last night and thought that would be an awesome theme for a wedding - esp if you had little cup cakes for the cake and little bottles of tequila for the favors.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
