So great to finally see pictures from a wedding there! It also makes me really think that having a DJ would be a lot of fun and worth it to get! (despite DRC's crazy price mark-up on them)

Haha I feel super impatient, I e-mailed her Tuesday night to finally book her if she's still available, but I haven't heard back from her. Now I'm checking my e-mail ALL the time hoping to hear back from her that it's good to go! If I don't hear back from her tonight you think it's too pushy to e-mail her again tonight?

Ashly I am actually surprised you havent heard back yet, I dont think I have had to wait for more than a day before to get an email back, like I said she is awesome, here is the email I got:

I did a site visit and NO they do not give a discount. I have 63 guests already booked and confirmed and they really could give a crap!! I tried! The resort is beautiful and you will not be disappointed--i promise. I am having my ceremony on the beach-it is really pretty and we are having the reception on the deck. You literally walk off the beach and onto the wooden deck. It is perfect and is right next to the infinity pool. At night the whole resort has all different pretty lighting. Hope this helps.

Wow- that is crazy... you would think they would hook you up. hmmmm... I might still call and at least try- can't hurt I guess. Who did you call to talk w/ about it?

We are going to have our ceremony on the beach and reception on the deck as well. Everyone seems to say that is the best option... and from pics, it looks the most beautiful to me.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
