woo hoo! have fun!
When you go over to Caletas are you leaving from PV or Nuevo? either way when you are visiting the Vallarta palace have your taxi driver point out the vallarta adventures office in Nuevo (that is where your wedding group will leave from if you are staying in Nuevo). In my opinion that is much easier to get to and find than the one in PV and it is literally right down the street from the Vallarta Palace. (not really walking distance but pretty close).

Our group stayed at the Vallarta Palace and we did our welcome dinner there as well! It was nice! Can't wait to hear how your trip goes! Take pics!

Enjoy your visit with Kelley! You will love her so much!! We did our site visit last Feb. for a November wedding. It felt so good to meet her and know who I would be working with for the next several months. Additionally, I will never forget the moment I could see LC from the boat. AMAZING! I knew right then we had chosen the perfect location. Have a blast. BTW - we did the same thing and toured 4 resorts, and 3 welcome dinner venues too. A working holiday if you will....

Ok ladies! I need some opinions

I was looking a little closer to the time line for the wedding and when you break it all down.. it doesnt seem like there is enough time.

Wedding starts at 6:15

Cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30

Then dinner, toasts, cake cutting

Then you leave by 10:30

It just doesnt seem like a lot of time

Do you/ or did you feel like there was enough time?

regardless, the whole night will fly by way too fast wink.gif (don't say I never warned you!)

I added on the extra hour to the reception. can you do that or does your timeline above reflect the extra hour already?
We went back and forth on adding that extra hour because we didn't want our grandparents or the little kids to be too tired getting back so late. but in the end it was worth it!

Oh and welcome Heidi! woo hoo so many LC weddings coming up...that means lots of pictures!!!!!!

No, it doesnt include the extra hour. We thought about doing that.. but with 40 people at $10 per person.. another $400 for an extra hour seemed like too much!!

Does the DJ play on the way back too?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
