Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and maybe how much you guys are paying per person?
not having a wedding in Nov/Dec, but was trying to get an idea of prices if I buy 330 days in advance (earliest you can book flights) and at the time, Dec was the farthest month. On Mexicana airlines, I went to their webpage and clicked on vacation packages. 12 nights plus airfare (208 roundtrip from chicago) was a little over 3500 at club ocean front level. It was the best price I found of all the months. Probably won't get that good of a deal in the summer! Hope this helps

I was also really dissappointed when I saw the 'new' view from the gazebo, the beach looks great but I am a 'pool' person not a beach person so I probably wont use it anyway and the reason I selected Dreams was due to the gazebo being surronded by the ocean. I loved the ocean all around the gazebo however ladies unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do about it apart from accept it. I hope the photographer take the photos with the ocean in the background rather then the rock wall. I hope that they start to look more natural with the surrondings by the time I get married on November 3rd.

I may take some decorations also, I saw another bride took chair bows and Cecelia confirmed for me if I brought them she would ensure they got put on chairs at the gazebo as well as at the reception.

Iam going to look at the MExicana packages, i have been trying to get JetBlue but they are not available after Ocotber 31st yet and as the wedding is November 3rd we wnt be returning until after this.

I hope we can book them soon!

Good luck ladies -

Speak to you soon

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
