ShortNsweet,

thanks I'll do just that today, let ya all know how my tylneol shopping went lol.

Yes it'll definitely be a change living together. But like you said it wont be to bad, you can feel it's just right with him, that's so amazing.

My friend got married last Aug.(year and half ago) and she never lived with her now husband. They don't get along it's been the worse marriage of eternity! I hear how much she can't stand him everyday!!

I know it definitely wont be like that with you.

I lived alone only for 2 years and it was a huge change, took a lot of getting use to.

My FI snores too, but only when he is on his back,so I roll him over lol. I on the other hand, walk in my sleep!! (dangerous!!)

ahh, I'm glad I am not alone with the weight luggage problems, I don't know what we are going to do!!!

Perfect, I'll do the same 1 kit per couple and 1 kit for the singles. Thanks so much guys!!

Darn, your so lucky for being in FL right now, I keep telling the FI we need to go for shopping all he does is laugh at me!

Suzy, that's so cute!!!

Me too I can't wait until the night before the wedding , king size bed to myself, butler service all to myself, it'll be nice. And I will definitely sleep (probably not long cause I'll be all excited but still sleep some lol)

Michele, I love the dress.

You reminded me I need a new nice dress for the dinner with all the guest as well.

Don't wear nylons with the dress like the pic tho, doesn't look good IMOP!

Maghan, LOL everyone tells me exactly what you tell me about how to pack. My problem is.. I never know how I am going to feel, and my clothes as all based on how i feel that day. I know i'm probably going to have to let it go for this trip and pack like you said.

I know, I'm going to go shopping this weekend for some summer clothes, woohoo..been waiting all winter lol.

Jill, great idea!! I'll look nuts going from resto to bar to resto but that's ok if it's cheaper lol. I'll let you know how that works out.

Kimmy, Thank you so much for your nice comments on my boudoir pics, I'm still a little nervous wondering if the FI will enjoy them or (Who took these kind of thing lol)

Keep us posted about your order from discount mugs!! crossing my fingers for you

Hoyt,

I've consider making my own packets of tylenol. My FI said he wasn't sure anyone would take them as they are no longer santized. Anyone else agree ? If no I found a thread where she made her own little pouches for them. I also really like your idea, my parents have one who those seal vacuum thingy's!!

Opinion guys, much needed!!

I hear you about dressing according to your mood for the day but I figure that usually i would end up packing all my favourite things anyways and it's not like I'm super strict on myself that I need to wear a specific top on a specific day... just that its an outfit I plan to wear at some point in 10 days! LOL!

my problem isn't that I take up a lot of baggage, its usually that I'm overweight. I can pack more than you'd imagine into a single bag but it will also weigh close to my own weight! Oops! Just make sure you've got a scale nearby when you start packing so that you can figure out how much each bag weighs as you go and know which ones can fit a little more in them. It's all a game of tetris!!

Taylor - my wedding is just a day before yours in MX!! I think that's the closest I have to a twin date these days!
Thank you!!!

You actually have a twin on here with your same date. She's getting married on the 16th at my same resort. I don't know her name anymore. She introduced herself to me months ago but has since disappeared and been inactive.

LOL talk about weighting the luggage, my scale doesn't do a good reading cause I can never get the wheels on the scale. So this time around I made a MII character on Wii and I'll weight them that way, I can get an accurate reading this way lol.
You are too funny! The best way to figure out how much the bag weighs is to take your own weight then pick up the luggage and take your combined weight. Subtract one from the other and you're set!

you know it kim! did you go v-day weekend when they had that awesome sale? i did 8 min in the "platinum" bed since you got to use that for your first 2 sessions and i was burnt! that's the one where you only have a 1% chance of burning too! i'm basically albino still!

tracy, i just laughed out at the image of you creating a Mii character just to weigh your luggage! it's genius though!!

i'm a terrible person. there was a girl on here getting married same day, same resort as me, but then they decided to have a wedding at home instead. inside, i was secretly over-joyed!

i talked to my photographer the other day and she is all about doing part of our TTD shoot in a town so not every picture is just some variation of the beach. well, it turns out there is a really neat little town with a lot of old architecture and a really cool basillica about 40 min outside of PC. we're going to take a cab into the town for part of the day and do some of our TTD pictures there and then come back right before sunset and do the rest on the beach! i can't wait! although i'd be happy to avoid all the people starring at us with a photographer and video camera following us!

Welcome to the new girls!

Tracy- I don't think that Tylenol not being sterile will matter. As long as your hands are clean when you handle it it'll be fine. It's not a perishable item and the jars that you get it in aren't sealed once they've been opened, after all. I wouldn't want to get one from a store that wasn't properly sealed but if it was from a friend or family member (like in your case) I wouldn't give it another thought.

I tend to go close to my weight limit when I pack, too. It's shoes that do it for me, every time! At least the clothes we wear down south aren't too heavy though- sundresses, t-shirts and tanks, bathing suits, shorts. The extra wedding things are going to be a struggle, though- especially the mugs. I'll have to see what I can pawn off on other people!

Tracy - I'm not sure if i'd take tylenol if it wasn't in it's own packet. Even if I knew my sister made it herself...ok wait, i can't stand my sister...even if I knew my best friend made the packet...I think even generic Acetominophen packets would be better. But I've worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a while now so that kind of thing just makes me nervous.

I will definitely be going bare legged in the dress with black strappy sandals. I'm not sure what the chick in the picture was thinking with black tights but I don't like it like that.

I should be good at packing - we've done 10 days on the motorcycle - I have to pack light for that but when I have suitcases I go a little nuts. I will try to make a list...

I will start tanning in a few weeks...as FI works for a dermatologist on skin cancer, it's a sore subject here. And the dermatologist is his friend and will be at the wedding. FI wants to do Mystic Tan but I want to do the beds. i've never had a spray tan look good on me.

And it's SNOWING again here ladies...I was supposed to start my job today and they postponed it till Monday because it's supposed to snow through tomorrow. And 25-45 mph winds....seriously...I need spring!

But it's 79 degrees in Jamaica smile159.gif

Hmmmm... and if you feel like that about the Tylenol, Michelle, and Tracy's FI feels weird about Tylenol that's been opened then chance are there'll be a guest who does, too. Maybe making your own packs isn't the best idea, Tracy ...

oh, and I love your dress, too! Especially without the tights! I didn't want to say anything in case you really liked the tights with it but, yeah, I don't know what she was thinking either. Black sandals will look so nice with it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
