i just got a bunch of info e-mailed to me on saturday, hooray! i have a few questions and i'm wondering if anyone has looked into any of them yet (i'm getting married at gran porto)

 

1- an updated package list shows a $400 fee for weekend weddings 4:00 pm and later; this was not on the original sheet i received - has anyone else run into this? i'm hoping that they honor the info they originally gave me, since that's how i made my decisions.

 

2 - does anyone know if the photography is copyrighted or if it would be released?

 

3 - do they provide a sound system for dinner music at the restaurants? how about a dance floor/area?

YAY!! For getting info,

The $400 fee is a new thing they tacked on. If you put your deposit down before the new fees took place you def should not need to pay this. So Novemeber or before I believe but don't quote me on that one.

Not sure about number 2

Number 3 it depends on what package you chose for the sound system. If not you have to pay additional for this. Sorry not sure about the restaurants either providing a dance floor.

Woohoo! I get to add myself to this list, I've been waiting for ages, we are going to book this week.

 

I saw the $400 on my info today as well. But it says no charge if you are doing th free package? Not sure if that means no free wedding on those days? Or you don't need to worry about the $400?

I'm not sure about the new $400 for weekend wedding w/the free package b/c I booked before the price change, but I do know you don't have to pay the $400 for a JOP/Minister if you do the free package.

duprk452- the charge is for ceremonies after 4pm, not the reception. I have the same situation as you, ceremony at 2pm reception at 6 pm

 

candicemarie- Im not really sure what to do! I agree it may be bad to just wait but I have tried several times with no luck. yikes! I will plan on doing manis/pedis the day before for sure. The guys are golfing that day so it will just be us girls! I feel like I should book spazul just in case Veronicas falls through. Ill post somewhere else and see if anyone knows what to do

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
