I'm always nervous about how I look in pictures since I'm not the most photogenic person so it's so nice to be complimented!

Hi all,

I just thought I'd share, my Maggie dress is now ordered and my dress fitting is in August...so excited. I decided on the Jenna dress, I tried a few other designers but I really didn't have the same feeling as I did about the maggie sottero dresses. Very happy with my choice! now onto the rest of the plannin....

I posted in other dress places and nearly forgot to announce my Maggie status! Day before Valentines I placed my order. Sottero & Midgely JSM1239

I'm taking the straps off and adding a corset back. Everyone says open corset, but I want to wear a bra (so I'm lookng for one of those gel things that clasp together to create cleavage)

Help! I'm so torn between 2 very different Maggies!

Last week I was totally in love with Paigely:

Paigely - by Maggie Sottero

And yesterday I tried on Hunter and I didn't want to take it off!

Hunter - by Maggie Sottero

Paigely is very different from many of the dresses I've tried on as it's lace over satin. Has beautiful rouching and beading details. Hugs beautifully.

Hunter is very sleek, has a bit of beading detail, a clean/modern look and shows off the figure more.

Any brides have experience with either of these...? They're both stunning, and hard to compare against each other.

Hunter is priced approx. $400 less, but the detail and lace in Paigely justifies the price different.

erghh.... can I have the both?

oooo I love paigely!! Where are you getting married? The reason I ask is b/c taffeta is VERY heavy and the Hunter has such a full skirt, you might get really really hot!!

both gorgeous but I vote for paigely :)

For those who are wearing Reese, what shoes/sandals are you wearing with it?

Thank you!!
I just ordered my Maggie (Reese) last weekend - I am SO excited!!

I have until November so I haven't really thought about shoes/accessories. I think I will be deciding between colored shoes, for a 'pop,' or ones that match the color of the dress.

What are you doing?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
