Who will be using real touch flowers?

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies,

After going over my DW budget, I'm considering using real touch flowers. Does anyone know how much cheaper then real flowers they are. Any recommendations for good companies? Are you using real touch flowers for all the floral in your wedding or mixing it up?

Thanks ladies!!!

Hi Flores,
While I haven't quiet made a final decision, I think I will be using real touch flowers for my Maid of Honor's bouqet. My resort is charging around $45 for a floral bouquet. I've looked on Save on Crafts, Wedding Supplies, Flowers, Tulle, Lights, Decorations & Discount Craft Supplies Save-on-crafts and have found some nice bouquets for around $18-$25. Or you can create your own as they sell individual flowers as well with all accesories necessary to assemble one. To most people, the $20 difference doesn't seem like much, but if you have a large bridal party, it could be a good option for you to check out. Hope this helps.

I bought my flowers from plumerias wedding flower boutique. roberta is amazing to work with. my bouquet with shipping and starfish jewel was 140. our resort package includes a bridal bouquet but we are trading that for the BMs bouquets. We are also taking silk flowers from Michaels for the gazebo decor. the resorts charge 3 to 4 times the price for decorations!!

I'm using real touch flowers. I ordered my bridal bouquet, maid-of-honor bouquet, 2 small presentation bouquets (4 daisies each) for the mothers, 5 boutonniers, 4 x 2 daisies for centerpieces (just the flowers... the Jellyfish is providing the vases), and one hair flower from Shavon's Wedding Silks. Altogethor it cost me $227. They came out beautiful and I'm soooo happy with the quality of the flowers. Shavon is based out of Holiday, FL and will ship, but I live in Tampa so I picked them up myself. I'm still a little concerened with how I'm going to pack them without them getting smashed on the way to the DR.... lots and lots of tissue paper. :)

Good luck!!

I ordered from Plumerias Wedding Boutique as well. We went for the whole package...for $500 we are getting my bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres and 3 wrist corsages! All of the bouquets have a little jewel on them as well. Roberta is super to work with and communicates really quickly back and forth. Here are a few pictures of what the flowers will look like!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
