Good news is, that they were able to lengthen the dress! Let's focus on that. Once you see the dress on, then you can tell the owner in person how unhappy you were about everything. It sucks that it took so long to get connected with her. Keep us updated on your status after you see it in person!

At least the good news is that they say they were able to lengthen it. I really hope it works out for you. They told me the same thing about my dress - that they were going to steam it/press it to lengthen it. I'm going for my 2nd fitting today so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It sucks that we have to go thru this sad.gif

right burlington, but i didn't get the dress here. it was in windsor.

i just moved here a couple months ago so i'm not familiar with the stores here.

How do you like living there? I grew up there from when I was 5yrs to about 23yrs old - well split between Burlington and St Catharines anyways. My parents are still there too. The only time I really miss it is during the spring and fall. We just don't get those seasons here in Calgary really and all the smells in the spring and colours in the fall are just memories now sad.gif I don't know if I'd ever move back there but I sure wish I could visit more!

i love it so far. my parents are from here originally so spent a lot of time here as a kid. we don't have any family here now, but i love the area and convience of everything. was living in TO the last 11yrs so quite the difference!

well just a quick update on my dress. i had my fitting yesterday and it is so much better. they stretched the fabric & steamed it to add 3/4 inch in length. i got flat silver sandals (1/2 inch) from town shoes Nice Shoes Online For Less - The Shoe Company

they look great and aren't too much with the jewels either. at least now with such great sandals i'll probably show my feet off more. haha.

 

anyways...thanks again everyone for your comments & support. it did help...and i'm glad everything worked out with my dress. it sucks it happened but it's fixed.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
