I need some help!!!

I originally planned at 6pm wedding (june 19) and Ana suggested that I change it to 5pm. After looking at sunset times, the sun does not set until 7:31 on that day!!! I am starting to think that maybe the wedding ceremony is too earlyhuh.gif Any suggestionshuh.gif Are any of you getting married in the summer when the days are really longhuh.gif Since I am not having a cocktail hour I was thinking I should probably push back the ceremony time... maybe to about 5:30 or 6:00huh.gif?

Someone asked about centerpieces.... her is the document Ana sent me with pictures of centerpieces. I really do not like too many of them. I asked Ana about set up and she said they can do it, or I can have someone do it (like my mom or sister). If someone in my family has time to do it, I think I will ask them to set up my centerpieces because they will know how I want it!!!

I don't want to have a cocktail hour either. What are you having instead of it?

What package are you going with? I am going with the Ultimate. I think I am going to have my ceremony at 4 or 5 pm. That is what I am thinking right now.

Well I am getting the love package and in that package hair and makeup is included. I have heard that at the resort they have a salonhuh.gif But do not know the name of the person who will be doing it. I am just hoping for the best. But I am pretty picky with my make up. The only reviews I have read about the makeup and hair experiences were that they did not speak very great english so bring lots of pics. Do you have anyone that will be coming to your wedding that is bilingual? Maybe that could help in the language barrier. I am just hoping for the best. smile03.gif

Hi Majimart,
Here is what I got from Ana. She said with the ala carte menus you can mix and match (make substitutions) but with the buffet you cannot. She also told me that if you have more than 40 people you have to have the buffet.

I am not quite sure how the appetizers work, I am guessing you pick one of the categories....does anyone know which ones are included with the ultimate package or if you can pick any of them?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
