Did anyone use another company to get your guests there?
I think ours says $10 per person. Im pretty sure its dependent upon your hotel where you stay. Its roundtrip, so I didnt think it was that bad. $5 there and $5 back. I wonder what other companies cost though. I might look into that to save some money.

Where are you guys staying and how many guests do you have to transport?

We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta and the Vallarta Adventures office/boat is much easier to find if you are leaving from the Nuevo marina. since we only had 30 guests, I just put my dad in charge of rounding up taxis for everyone. i think that way each taxi was only a few dollars each way to transport 4 people. So that was a cheaper option for us.

If you are leaving from the PV marina though (depending on where your hotel is and how many guests you have) I would probably recommend the shuttle option

I got a quote of $350 for a shuttle for 45 ppl. So I guess it comes out to about 8 bucks per person round trip. This is throught Super Vallarta tours. From what i heard, there are only a few companies that are actually allowed to drive in to the marina. Otherwise they drop you off about a block or two away from the marina because they are not allowed to enter.

I want to say we paid $10/person or something, but I honestly can't remember. Seemed reasonable enough to me though.

P.S. Adding this link to the first post in this thread for reference! Featured Caletas Couple ?? Destination Beach Weddings Blog, Las Caletas, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

That is good to know! I might just have to get ahold of them. Did you already let the WC know that you will be using different transport?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
