Did you contact them yourself or was it reserved through your WC? I am trying to make reservations to have my reception there, but I can't seem to get through on the phone and they aren't quick with the email replies.

I just talked to Ann Marie w/Weddings in the Bahamas. They seem extremely accommodating and very professional. We don't have a set number of people yet, but she said they are very flexible if its just a few people over the "2-8 people" package that we're selecting. And the pricing really pretty much STOMPS what I've seen from Norwegian. Anyway, just wanted to add that I'm working with Ann and she is very nice.

Well, I spoke with all the above and they all seemed great!! Due to cost, I decided to go with the wedding coordinator that the Sheraton of Nassau had in house.

So far I'm not overly impressed!!! Everything may work out when all is said and done but the issue is COMMUNICATION!!! Every time I email with a question it takes minimum 5 days to get an answer, usually it's over a week....and thatâ€s when he is actually IN the office. I get an "out of office reply" just about every time I email... Is this normal? Does everyone else have this same issue with responses?

Like I said, it may turn out perfect, but I need instant gratification when I email :)

Let me know if this is the norm.

Yep...the norm. That's why I call. It was costing me a fortune, but I just purchased a international phone card for $5 and the calls cost a few coins. It really used to bug me when folks would not get back to me....especially considering all of teh money that is being spent.

I'm not sure what your asking but you should talk to a travel agent. It's what we did and they gave us a deal for all our guests on airfare and hotel room. It was probably about $300.00 in saving per person so it worked out well. I did not stay at the Wyndham Crystal so I can't speak to that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
