Cool- what is your date? I still can open things on here- and I have talked to Ana- but not a LOT-- I asked a ton of ??S though :) Have you gotten a lot of planning done.. I know it is far away but I have done nothing! It makes me nervous! (I know I want to get married on the beach but that is all I know) Any suggestions, etc?? :)

October 19, 2010 - but we have not paid our deposit yet.. she is taking forever to get back to me regarding it.. so now I'm starting to get stressed out. Thinking by the time she gets back to e-mail she's going to say.. "sorry the 19th is now booked!" ARGH. Anyways I think you have to have at least 150 posts before you can open or download attachments on here!

So far not a lot of planning has been done - originally we started planning an at home wedding (we've been engaged for two years) so I've been in the process of cancelling things here.. Although I did just purchase my wedding gown last saturday and was able to take it home that day (I was the first one to try it on!!). Other than that I've just been gathering ideas and started making my invitations/stds! I feel like I'm waaaaaaaaaay behind some of the other girls on here.

I meant to say that I cannot open attachments on here. so annoying- haha!

Anyhow- For the people that are closer to their dates, should I be stressing that I have NOTHING done for my wedding... I mean I have ordered my dress and I am sending my invites out next month. (we already did the save the dates and have 30 booked so far) But that is all we have done. I have not picked flowers, where I want the rehearsal or reception, menu, etc.

So I saw at some point the list of brides/wedding dates for DRC on here and it seems like there were a decent amount of Jan/Feb brides. I wonder where they all went! I hope some of them come back and post their reviews of it all!

Kym - I'm having the same problem as far as the deposit thing goes & the same exact worry! It doesn't help that I have no patience and have trouble waiting for things! Congrats on buying your dress! Exciting! Any plans to post a picture of it on BDW?

Oops - didn't see this! You have WAY more done than I do! I haven't even tried on dresses yet, and haven't sent out STDs or anything! I've looked online at invitations to start getting ideas and have been looking into the Real Touch flowers through the forum but that's about it :)

Ashlynn, I am feeling the exact same way. I have no patience at all when it comes to things like this.. I always want things done like yesterday, so this is really testing my patience! I'll probably put a picture of it on BDW in the future when I try it on again looking half decent lol.. but here is the link to it! It's the diamond white color though so more of an Ivory rather than the white dress that is in the picture and looks 100 times better in person - I'm in love.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
