Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Meghan, I had maybe two bites of my cake just so I could say "I ate some of my wedding cake" lol. It wasn't icing, it was fondant, so you can't really eat much of that. To me it was just cake, nothing special.

So I'm packed and heading to the airport in a few hours for my trip! I'm sure I'll have 100 pages to catch up on when I get back! Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh I am soooo jealous Nicole. Have fun!!!!

I think we get dessert with our meal but I am also having a wedding cake - vanilla/vanilla. I want to have the cake cutting and since I downgraded for the free wedding package I decided I could pay for the cake. Its a total waste and I am still doing it.

Girls, I could F&%$#% kill my travel agent! I asked her Monday for an update on who has booked and NOTHING. My friend booked Tuesday and still does not have a confirmation. She is coming Mon-Mon and other girl is Tues-Mon and my TA said the first girl might have to pay for a double rate the first night even though it'll be one person that day. WTF. I am sooooo annoyed. I sent her an email last night to contact me ASAP. I think I have to lay into her to give her one more chance. If she cannot come through I am going to engage in a major smear campaign. This woman is going to bridal shows saying she is a TA for destination weddings and is so inept! OK thanks, needed to rant.

I wasn't going to have a cake but everyone keeps saying I need to have one so now I'm having a cupcake cake. I'm trying to figure out if I should have one cupcake per person. We're having about 60 people but I only asked for a cake for 40 people. I'm stuck. I don't really eat cake and I know a lot of people don't eat it (especially since we're probably gonna be doing heavy drinking) but I don't know what to do.

I am soooo angry right now! I just got off the phone with my mom and she called our TA on Monday to book and pay for the trip... it took them until Friday to get back to her. She also said they gave her the run around a number of times, the girl she dealt with couldn't confirm the price, couldn't confirm what she going to put through on her credit card. She hasn't gotten her confirmation via email yet.

A friend of mine had a similar issue when she called for up the grade price to the adult only section swim up room - it took them TWO WEEKS to get back to her!

Has anyone else experienced issues like this with their TA's? What did you do? Is this normal?

I'm not impressed with the level of customer service they are giving our guests and us! We've asked questions before... we don't get any answers until we follow up two or even three times.

We're nine months out and I'm scared that this is going to scare away our guests when they try to book with them...

Amy, I'm scared to even ask if we have the same TA.... sounds a little too familiar and I'm on the verge of losing it!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
