This is excellent to know! I figured that if this is the only issue, I can get my family members to reserve the areas near the ceremony so there are not random people all around!

rox you should speak to Ana about availability, time of day for the ceremony still available, and location that is available and when

Ana's contact is "Ana Ma. Cruz" <Weddings@dreamsrivieracancun.com.mx> I found her to actually be quite prompt with responces, she doesnt respond to everything, ha ha, but she does respond

5 spots only available though? yikes

as far as the cost of the food and drinks at an all inclusive, I was super surprised too when I first learnt that I would have to pay for dinner at an all inclusive - kinda counter intuitive isnt it? - but going thru some of the planning process realized just how much more staff they need to set aside just for the party with set up and take down and all that good stuff - so it still sucks but is somewhat understandable :)

A week, yikes that is a long time to wait for feedback, only thought is maybe with it being a bit more far off in 2011, that is more attentive to those whose weddings are coming up over the next couple of months more - I have heard she gets better closer to

I have attached the deck set up I pretty much want to replecate but got quoted a crazy amount for the brown chairs - have any of you girls managed to find it cheaper than USD 7 per chair?

On the positive side those overlays were quoted at USD 10, a much better bang for the buck in my opinion

Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
