Good news! Thank you all for the good wishes and happy computer thoughts! The computer doctor took my computer and I guess I realized what was going on fast enough it didn't need to be torched! He ran a couple of big time super duper virus things on it and killed the lille rotter! Whoppeeee!bunny_4.gifbunny_4.gif So no internet yet because I have to back everything up tonight first!

Shells you are so blessed to have such a good friend. It sounds like you have been a really good friend to her too:)

Susie - love SweetPea! My pups would have done the same thing and been all over me. I wish you had a video:) You will have to post a picture.

KristaH....so sorry about your grandma. Maybe you can make a date to sit down with her and show her your video when you get back. As for the rest - do not miss an opportunity to see your grandma because your Aunt is there. It is not worth missing out on time with your grandma.

Your SIL sounds like a treat. "Dont' worry I can still fly." ...okay was I supposed to worry? Pregnant women fly all the time. Seriously.

Ladies the dresses are beautiful.

Teshy - for back up to the strapless tops - I use Aveno Self tanning lotion. Most the others make me orange or rub off on clothing and I find this one doesn't. It might make nice back up if the day before you notice you have a tan line where you don't want it. You can put it on a couple times and cover up when you are outside that day.

Timberly the shower looks like it was wonderful - I love the way the tables were decorated! Umm...did i see a Tiffany box in the background?

Gotta run and finish working! Tonight I have to go to Sparks (5 and 6 yr old Girl Guides) and then put my BD shoot bag together. FI is home tomorrow night and I am trying really hard to keep this a surprise!

TTYL lovely ladies!

Sveta - hope you're feeling better. Take some Vitamin C and get plenty of rest! That is nice that your friend is going to sing for you, so sweet!! I think she should sing before you exchange rings, as you are staring into eachother's eyes and holding hands.

Are you getting married on the beach? Are you playing a song as you walk down the aisle with your dad? We just decided we are playing a song... it is "Over the rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, he was a Hawaiian singer and I love his voice/music!

Our first dance song at our AHR will be "At last" by Etta James. It has a little significance as we've been dating for 6+ years and we are finally getting married. :)

This is strange but I've never danced with my dad before so this will be the first time! I picked "My Girl" by The Temptations. I just hope it isn't too fast for us!

I liked your necklace but I think you need a little more sparkle! Your dress is gorgeous and I think you can find some new bling to go along with it!

No more rocking! You're gonna make yourself loopy!!! smile105.gif

OMG... were we twins seperated at birth? lol We are alike in many ways! We both like the same style of dress and music! Wow!!!

You will get to walk down the aisle to it first though. As you are walking down the aisle I will be flying above you on my way back to Michigan on Feb. 2nd. Can't wait! :)

*hugs*

k, guys... so far we have it narrowed down to this:

1st song: "Stand By Me" Ben E. King, "This Years Love" David Gray or possibly "The Blowers Daughter" Damien Rice

Any suggestions for a father/daughter dance, or mother/son dance?

I am pretty sure (if she can accept the challenge) we are going to have my MOH sing "At Last" by Etta James, and much like you Erica it has significance seeing as though we have been together for 5 1/2 years.

Thanks ladies!! I had an amazing shower and felt so blessed that I had such a great group of girls to wish me well.. we played games, ate great food and got down to the nitty gritty when the passion party demonstration began lol *angel face* it was soo much fun. I ordered a few things for the honeymoonportion of the trip wink.gif

Ha ha, there were 2 huge Tiffany boxes for me..great eyes you have. We received great glassware and silverware from my new favorite store. I also received TONS of gift cards and cash a great nonstick set of Calphalon pots and 2 one hr massage gift certificates..yippee

Krista, your dress is gorgeous on you, your smile lets me know that you already know that wink.gif. I am also dancing with the hubby to "At last" it will be 8 years total in April what.gif was the hold up!?!? I love "Daddy" by Beyonce, makes me cry. My dad is a rare breed, so this song is perfect for him.

KristaH your dress is sooooooo beautiful and knock it off about "fat arms" you look great in your dress!! It was made for you!

90lbs?!?! that's funny... it was the print of the dress..it must have a "slimming effect" lol

Thank you ladies for being my calm when the storm is brewing all around me. I can't wait to give out hugs in person, until then...hug2.gif

Our days are numbered ladies!!

My dad and I are going in between "Stealing Cindrella" by Chuck Wicks or "My little girl" Tim McGraw-- I just can't decide and he starts crying when either of them play so its no help there.

Justin and his mom are dancing to "The Man You've Become" by Molly Pasutti but there is one called "A song for my son on his wedding day" by Mikki Viereck and that one is nice too.

Our first dance is "God Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts

We are walking down the aisle to "Con Te Partiro" Andrea Bocelli

I do have Etta James saved in my wedding music file, but being from WI we are all just a bunch of red neck country loving hicks I guess since most of the slow songs are from the country and the western!! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
