NYC Boudoir Session Anyone?

Just a word of advice DON'T purchase a book from the photographer!!! The average price of their books are $150-350! You can EASILY make your own book on sites such as Mypublisher, snapfish, shutterfly, blurb and probably a few others. Personally I like publisher and blurb the finished product looks so professional. The cost of my book (that I did myself) was $56 including shipping AND extra pages AND I had a coupon code and received a free book. When I brought up designing my book, my photog actually recommended that I make my own (I already had that in mind because I created photobooks before) For the size book I made a photographer would have charged $200!! When your package includes books, this is where the price is driven way up.. Jennifer that I recommended before gives you 50 edited shots included in her pricing.. I heart her can't you tell.

Okay Ladies...I'm very excited. I have what I think is good news. Jennifer got back to me today with a special package. I think it's the cheapest rates I have seen thus far. This package however requires that at least 4 of us book and it must be on the same day. The good part is that we do not have to rent a hotel...she has a studio in her home in Queens.

I think Jennifer has worked with us to give us what we want at a terrific price...which now includes a photo album!! So far...it looks like 2 of us are definitely on board. I was thinking about late April...early May for a date.

Just an FYI...the end of April....early May date is not set in stone. When we find out if we have enough people, we can all decide what suits everyone. I did speak to Jennifer and April is tight...but possibly doable. She will also deliver the photos based upon the wedding date of each girl so if you are close....you should get yours earlier. I was thinking late April/ early May because I want to also have my own book done in addition to the album that we will get from Jennifer. However...we all have to be flexible..so...let's see if we can put together a group and then if we can pick a date that works for everyone.

The 1st weekend in May (Sat 5/1) would work best for me cuz FI is gonna be gone for his bachelor party, but I can be flexible. I'm wondering how long it takes to get the pics/book cuz we leave 5/24 for our wedding.
