Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

When are you leaving to go to the other resort?

Because I am also doing TTD and Arnaud is coming over the very next day of my wedding to do them.. and I don't have to pay another pass. Maybe you can consider this if your not leaving the very next day.

Congrates on getting your date confirmed!!!! yaaaaaaaaaaah :) :)

your allowed to take the wristband off for your wedding, so can all your guest. Make this a point in your meeting with Carolina when you get there.

Nonnie, thanks so much I wont worry about dinner music either :)

Which restaurant did you use again? I ask to book La Uva (which means grapes btw.. just learned that LOL!!) I am not sure it'll happen.. we will see I guess... trying not to stress about these things.

Carolina emailed me back, and catholic weddings ARE LEGAL -

"Thanks for your email, regarding your questions, no we will not have a judge there, but you will receive your marriage certificate back (after 6 or 8 weeks) legalized, and then your marriage will be legally in the US.

Regards from DR"

Side note: Is anyone doing a TTD / having arnaud come on Friday, April 16th? I thought cherrybomb was also using HDC, and personally, I don't think we both should have to pay for them to be there if it's the same block of time!

I was worried about the wristbands too, glad to hear that's taken care of!

Regarding Wrist Bands

This is what Carolina told me:

The Bride and the Groom can remove their wristbands for the day of the wedding. You ust keep it, and then exchange it at the deck for a new one

If your guests remove their bands, it is a $35 fee to replace them

My hubby forgot to remove his band, but it was black (Air Transat Imperial club) and did not look odd. My mom, MOH, etc bought some thick shell bracelets to cover the bands

like this: http://www.youpearl.com/images/shb/s...t-shb103_m.jpg

that worked well, in fact if you know what your female guests are wearing in terms of colour (and you find a good deal) something like that would be a good OOt bag item. Otherwise maybe consider getting one for your bridesmaids

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
