Thanks for passing this on!! I was actually talking to my dad about a round of golf to see if he'd want to go play. Any idea how much the cart rentals and club rentals work out to be for each person or for a group of 4??

Are you ladies talking about the golf course in Puerto Aventuras or other golf courses? My aunt and uncle went to a course out in Playa del Carmen, but I'm not sure how much it was. Warning...depending on the time of year you can go it can get very hot out on the course. My aunt and uncle are avid golfers and they said they had lots of trouble finishing all 18 holes because it was so hot.

Thanks for the heads up on that Ginalyn! I think I get so used to thinking "thank god it's going to be nice and hot there" that I forget that sometimes that may mean TOO hot along the way.

 

But yes, I was hoping to find out prices for the golf course that we have access to through DPA. Guests get free green fees but I've heard from a number of people now that they still get you pretty good with cart and club rentals (at most courses, not just the one through the resort).

To be honest I don't remember. I know hair and makeup were free for the bride if you chose the Ultimate Package (but Mylene I don't think you chose that package?). I think either I or someone else had posted the spa menu in a prior post. I don't have time to look now but I can look later.

If it's the golf course in PA, it's not a full 18 holes so I'm sure heat won't be too much of a problem. We were there in mid-June 2009 and a hand full of the men went and played. One just had a hip replacement a few months before and he made it through it fine, if that helps at all! haha

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
