If you just make a playlist on your ipod with the order of songs that should be easy enough!

If your having a trio they play beautiful music while you walk down and as you walk back. And they played "Woman" by John Lennon in spanish for their first dance in the gazebo! It sounded soooo pretty!

I don't even want to begin to think about what we will be paying in extra baggage fees, I know with just our clothes and things for both of us for a week thats alot of bags then to think about all the wedding stuff wheewww were going to be paying a couple extra hundred.

I am soo excited for all the January brides Tam and Jocy you guys are less than 2 weeks away from your special days :)

haha overweight baggage fees... yikes! I am going to give out as many OOT bags as possible BEFORE leaving, so that I can cut down weight on that! I really will have to pack efficiently, cause I don't want to pay a lot in fees!

Is anyone else nervous about the new travel restrictions? Hear anything about carry-on baggage internationally? I'm thinking for you American ladies more than us Canadian ladies, but still... I'm concerned a bit!

Oh yeah, and thanks to Mr. Underwear Bomber we will now have scanners that scan through your clothes and show a picture of your naked body to the security officer... awesome.

We were hoping to have it in one of the restaurants but she says those patios are booked for weddings that night. So we're having it on the terrace of the world cafe. You have to pay $10 per person to have them set you up a table and give you a specific time but we new we'd never get a table for 14 otherwise.

From what i can gather they don't let you make any reservations at any of the restaurants...ever, :o( It's all first come, first serve basis.

Yeh I have been reading all the new travel restrictions and some of them just suck, I am getting ready to send out an announcement to all our guest informing them to purchase airline tickets and to read and be aware of all the travel restrictions. so there are no surprises when they get to the airport.

I am still going to try and disburse some of our items to family members hahaha and hopefully it can cut down some cost

Hmmmm I thought they said they could reserve space at a resturant if it was for a private event... they are confusing sometimes and then some DREAMS resorts to thigns that other DREAMS resorts don't do, I think they should be more uniform

i'm actually such a spaz that i made a list of every person coming with us and whether or not they will need a checked bag and then i have my own bags with weddign things pre-designated for the ones who don't. (little kids are a blessing since they don't need to check their own bag!)

i didn't hear about the travel restrictions, but i just looked it up. i'm concerned about this "one carry-on thing". i have my freaking dress as one of mine.. they're telling me that's all i can bring?

i take that back.. looks like only some airlines are doing it, and it's only flights back into the US, but still.. ridiculous! thankfully we are only using 2 different airlines so i don't have to research 100 different airline restrictions!

an FYI for anyone flying Delta, they don't have anything additional yet... just the increased screening.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
