Glad you ladies can understand the pressure that I am suddenly feeling........our weddings are SOOOOOO close.

I have so many things to do for the wedding, plus back to work tomorrow and a huge paper due for my masters.........aaaaahhhhhhhh.......

This month is going to fly by and then it will really be panic time.

Please tell me that I haven't made a huge *f* up....our AHR is March 6th and I still haven't sent the invitations out (goal is to have all of them sent by thurs).

Definitely a wierd feeling being so excited for the wedding, but the mind doesn't stop thinking of everything that needs to be done.

OMG I am going to bloody scream... If this 15 year old doesn't drive me to drink nothing will... She has been told how many times that she has to be in her room quiet at 10pm... I am a light sleeper she damn well knows this and she waits until I am gone to bed at 9.30 to go in her bathroom and start straightening her hair. It's 11.pm i just woke up to the smell of G*d damn hair burning and her slamming drawers.

So I confront her and she is, "like I don't know why i waited until 10 oclock to straighten my hair". She is going to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Breathe Sue Breathe... I want to strangle her... I am awake I had 1 hour sleep last night and about 45 minutes tonite... I am done....

Started tanning and we are working out like mad men! Does this ever stop?
My dad informed me he has to have rotater cuff surgery this month he informed me that he wanted to get it done before golf season- I said to him I get it Golf Season trumps 1st borns wedding. I see where I stand, he claims thats not what he meant.

Susie- Glad to hear you put the little snot in her place!

We already knew that the Feb brides thread is the best thread there is!! I can't wait to see if we can meet up after the weddings and share photos and wedding videos somewhere!
You are on top of things, girl! I need to work on the script as well as order my sand ceremony things. I got tons of OOT bag stuff this weekend though, which is good! Will they read our script at MP...I thought I heard something about them not doing it or is that just for civil ceremonies?

Flower question for you guys----I am ordering my bouquet this week and really don't know what size to get. What are you guys getting? I'm getting a round one and I'm thinking 10"...is that too small?? I don't want a huge one, but also want it to be a decent bridal bouquet size. Also, those of you taking yours are you carrying it on or checking it?

Who else but men would even find that entertaining? So I told him I was coming on here to vent to you guys.....now he is reading the ceremony in the livingroom. Thinks he is soooo funny.

I agree...it would be really nice if we could all meet up somewhere later in the year and talk in person:)
Very funny! I asked FI if he's been thinking about what he wants to put in our OOT bags and he just looked at me like I was joking and just started cracking up. I was like, "what's so funnyhuh.gif?? Really, have you been thinking about it?!?"

I ordered my real touch bouquet from a seller on etsy, her prices are great! Custom wedding flowers bridal bouquets and more by jdleggans I informed her that I may refer some brides from this forum, just mention that you are a February bride from this forum and she will "rush" the order :)

Susie all I can say is WOW! that girl has some nads on her, the stepdaughter must have been talking trash about you to her for her to feel that she could speak to you that way. Congrats to you for not itch slapping her because honestly, they both deserved it. She better be lucky she wasn't at my house because she would have been hitch hiking home that night!

Shells, I am so happy that it was just the car that was hurt and not you or your FI

Teneil, I completely understand how you feel!! I feel like I have accomplished so much, but there is still lots to do!!

How in the world do women plan these things without forums like this one!?!?!

I feel truly blessed that you ladies are here for me and each other, I get all misty eyed thinking about how difficult this important time in my life would be if I didn't have all the love and far away support that feels like its right next to me! Thanks ladies! February brides ROCK!!

We sent out 200 invites/reception cards and have gotten back 40 replies... so I wish I would have waited longer and closer to the date. My mom sent out 260 invites and got 190 replies and had over 350 ppl show up at her reception. Don't know why we bother with rsvps when guests ignore them anyways!

Ok next time go and cut the power (flip the circit) to her room/bathroom-- she will be standing there in the dark and you'll be like there we go nice and quiet now! lol

I think they only have to follow a script if its the civil and legal ceremony. Our took us 3 or 4 hours and I am going to be a bawling sobbing mess. I used a lot of the girls ideas in the script area on here.

We went to pier one imports and got our sand ceremony stuff there-- only cost us $28 instead of the $40+ I keep finding.

I went with the 10" too because its big enough for photos but not huge. I am carrying it on along with the sand ceremony stuff so it doesn't break.

Oh god, I hope that doesn't happen to me! I'm sending out 165 invites (320 people) and am really hoping for no more than 225 or 250. I would freak out at 350!!! Shouldn't happen as long as they all read the RSVP card which explicitly states how many seats we have reserved for them.

Yeah, I'm really thinking that's the best size too. I just wanted to get a feel for what other people are doing. So what do you plan to do with the free bouquet and boutonniere that you get from MP? I feel like I don't want them to go to waste since we hardly get anything else included there!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
