Hope everyone had a great holiday. I feel the same way Shells, bring on the wedding now.

 

FI and I have off until Jan 4th - thank goodness I need a break. So today for non-Canadians is boxing day where there are crazy sales. I refuse to go out in that mess of traffic and people. I think I'll wait until Monday when a lot of people have to go back to work!!

Timberly that is funny! Tell him Happy Birthday:) I just feel bad for him because he gets kinda ripped off. Maybe not so much now as an adult, but as a kid.... Hope you are having fun on your ski trip!

Shells.....I have gotten out a bit but boy is the reaking (?) havoc on my sleep. I am dying trying to stay awake at work after two nights with only 3 hours of sleep! Then Sunday night our friends (FI's bestman) are having their annual appetizer party, so straight there from work! That being said it is a lot of fun and sooo much food! Everyone brings appies of all kinds and we all just eat and eat. *sigh* good thing the dress has a corset that laces up!

 

I have used Crest whitening strips a couple of times. I really like them and I do notice a difference after a few days....depends which ones you get how fast you see the results, but I have used the 7 day ones and 14 day ones and liked them both. You can also use two sets of them back to back if you want and it doesn't hurt your teeth.

 

Santa must have had lots of those Mexico books this year! FI and I got one too! Sneaky Santa!

 

Susie how did the dinner go with the guest who is sort of your brother's girlfriend?

 

I agree with all of you....now that this holiday is almost over we can get on and finish the wedding plans! Woot woot!

Susie - you are brave on boxing day my friend! I just can't make myself do it.....oh wait I am working so I can't even consider it! lol

 

FI and I got an Ipod touch and docking station thingie with speakers for Christmas:) Now we just have to figure out how to make it work so we can take it for the reception. We are going to set it up outside (in the bleeding cold weather!) and see how loud it is....hoping we can take your suggestion and use that for the poolside reception!

I bought the "Crest White Trays" I'll let you know how they work.. I am not starting until after the holidays because i drink red wine.. I think it would be kinda pointless.

 

I just packed the two new suitcases with all our wedding stuff. Holy smokes i am taking too much stuff... I am glad it is put in suitcases now because it was just all over the spareroom.

 

Dinner was fun last night... Bro's chickie was hammered when she got here and going on her usual rant about going to Mexico... Your living in a shelter and your talking about a trip down south. Damn!! is all I can say. Oh funny thing that did happen was she was drinking tall boy beer cans and she pulled one out of the fridge that was upside down and she handed it to my FI and said "this can is broken there is no tab to open it". She was trying to open the bottom of the can... She was that pie eyed she didn't see it was upside down. FI just rolled his eyes at her.

Oh and she bought herself a Santa gift an IPOD touch!!!!! I told you she was homeless and living in a woman's shelter righthuh.gifhuh.gif? Damn.

Yeah bring on the wedding... I leave for Mexico one month today!!!!!!!! Double Damn

Those Ipod touch are sweet... there was one at my house yesterday... i had a little look at it. FI said their very easy to use... Good luck hunsmile72.gifsmile72.gif

It does all start to stack up doesn't it? I am going to have to start farming stuff out soon too. It must be nice to be packed....wow you know it is getting close when you have to actually pack and not just think about the things you need to take along! That's exciting!

I am actually a dentist and when I was in school I sold them to raise money for a trip to Venezuela...my family bought a ton and they loved them. There have all different strengths. Most of them got the concentration that you can only get from your dentist, but they do work! It's been a while since I've sold them so I don't remember the one that they all liked the best.

This is my third day stuck in the house due to the snow!!! How sad...I had to miss some family gatherings. House is clean, laundry done, I have enough left overs to last a week, read a book, watched several movies, I don't know what to do with myself!! Maybe I can do a little wedding planning. Going to look for some shoes now! I hope all of you had a great holiday!

Hey girlz!!! It's me Erica (China girl)!!!! I'm doing great and I'm so sorry for not logging on in quite a while! We arrived in the U.S. Dec. 17th and have been sooooo busy since this is our last trip home before heading to MEXICO!!! Yikes! OMG!!!

 

I've been stressing out a little since we got an email from Ivan Luckie Photography saying he has a conflict with our wedding date and won't know for sure if he can do it until the end of January. SO, now I'm scrambling to find another photographer. Moments That Matter is booked and now I'm not sure where to turn! Yikes!

 

Other than that, things are getting done and my list is getting shorter! Yeah!

 

Things done:

Wedding bands bought and will be ready on Friday

FI got his wedding sandals

Invitations were sent out and we're getting RSVP's back already :)

Sexy lingerie was bought oh la la la!

Had my Bachelorette party last weekend and got some cute VS outfits and bride undies!

 

Things to do:

Meet with DJ for AHR

Pick out food for AHR

Decide on cupcakes for AHR

Fill out Wedding License app and turn in

Get groomsmen gifts

Buy candles for AHR

 

This is why I'm still up at 2:30am!!! I can't sleep, too much on my mind!

 

I hope all of you are doing good. I'll have to catch up on all the posts! Thanks for being concerned for me ShellK you're such a sweetie! I'm doing good though, glad to be in the U.S.A and among family and friends! We head back to China Jan. 4th and we still have so much to do!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
