Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hope everyone had agreat weekend. I finally convinced my FI to do a registry. He just wanted $$$ for wedding gifts but didn't understand that guests dont want to give cash for the shower typically. The shower is a girly thing that people like tho give actual gifts....am I right? I've never had one for myself but been to some and I always but a gift (something for the bride) So he agreed, we went to the bay (easiest choice) and had a blast! We had so much fun scanning things for our new house that we don't have yet:) And now he ant to go to another store to add more things. I've created a monster. I forgot to add that to the list but it's done!!

Today is my first day back to Insanity after a week off.....scary. Hope I don't dieeek.gif

That's definatley the way to go. Try them all on.
I dont understand some that try 1 dress on and know it's the one. I tried about 80, my mom was about to strangle me because I dragged her out of the house almost every sunday for 6 months. But I am absolutley in love with my dress, so it was all worth it.

A boudoir shoot is a huge motivator to get in shape. Hope you 2 like the px90,lots of variety. I wish my FI would workout with me sad.gif

I am so glad I have 2 months to work off the christmas food and drink! Why do we eat so muchhuh.gif? I am pulling out a bikini to look at so when I want to eat something my thighs don't need I will have to look at the bikini. LOL
I hope I can make it out of the season the same size I am now.....

You guys have me interested in this P90X. I definitely need to do something with my fat ass and the gym isn't the answer for me. I just checked online for this P90X and there are like a million different workouts. How the hell do I narrow it down lol.
Thanks Nicole!!

Haha, yeah going to the gym for me lost it's lustre pretty quick! If you just purchase the P90X you'll need a few free weights a pull up bar or resistance band. It really lays out for you what DVD to do what day and it's easier than it looks :)

YAY! Good for you! I did it with my FI too and let me tell you it made it SO much easier than going it alone which is what I'm doing with Insanity since he hates it.

You're right, I had a lingerie shower and gave the option of buying from my Crate and Barrel registry if they didn't want to get me lingerie. What ended up happening is a got a combo, one even put a bunch of thongs inside a pyrex tupperware set :)

Good luck back on Insanity! I'm back with you on it tomorrow and NOT looking forward to it!

I registered for Crate and Barrel, I'm big into cooking and their style. I also registered at Macy's, Marriott (for honeymoon) and another honeymoon site :)

You're lucky!!! MY BD shoot is January 10th because my photogs wife is pregnant and due a few weeks later!! I'm freaking out because my diet sucked this weekend and I feel like I don't look ready.

I've decided to do a liver cleanse on January 1st, it's only 24 hours but it's supposedly a bad 24 hours.

LOL I was the opposite of this. I think it depends on your personality. I'm a really indecisive person so trying a million dresses on would have driven me crazy. I went to one sale and bought off the rack. When I walked in I said I wasn't leaving without a dress because I didn't want to have to shop for one again lol. I didn't love my dress when I bought it. It was just the best of the ones I tried on, but I don't regret it and loved it on my wedding day. I wouldn't change any of it. To me, my sanity was more important lol. To each their own!

So happy you found THE dress :). And I give you props for being so devoted in your shopping! 6 months... wow lol!! But like you said, totally worth it, so that's all that matters :)

Agreed! I tried on about 80 as well, most in one exhausting day. I didn't find my dress until I was buy myself... then once I realized I was unable to sleep until my appt the following Sunday that it must be the dress for me. There's something settling about the reaction you get from your closest friends and mother when you find your dress.

Nicole I wish I was like you... I cause myself WAY too much stress and can't decide on anything and drive myself crazy all the time sad.gif People keep saying, oh your wedding is in 4 months, how exciting! My reply is typically, "yeah hopefully I survive that long" haha!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
