I'm doing the same thing! have you bought your pashminas and cigars yet?

TCIbride, are you just packing everything in your suitcase? I want to do OOT bags too but I'm affraid it's going to add so much weight that it's going to cost a fortune. How are you getting around this? When do you give the OOT bag anyway?

I haven't. I am going to buy the cigars in Mexico but plan on ordering the pashminas online from a site I found on this forum. They are only $3.95 each.

The groomsmen are getting Reef sandals with bottle openers on the bottom. For the wedding reception back home I got 99 mini frames with shells/beach themed and will be taking candid photos of all of our guests who show up and then putting them into the frames so they can take them with them after the reception. Im thinking about getting pashminas, asprins (recreating the labels to customize for the wedding) and aloe vera for putting into the beach bags. I may be going overboard with all of it but I am having a lot of fun with the OTB!

Where did you find GLOW IN THE DARK MUGS?? That is such an awesome idea. Hope you can remember:) Also, how about the reef sandals with the bottle opener...I remember seeing them at our beach here at home earlier last year. Did you find them at a store or online?

We are bringing q extra suitcase for the favors & OOT bags but it will be empty on the way home!
Thank you for the ideas! Listing the places you got everything really helps.

We also ordered insulated travel mugs for all our guests...with our name & date on them! Filling them with advil, band-aids, lip balm, aloe vera, personalized decks of cards, maybe even sudoku and a scavenger hunt for around the hotel.

We have a naturals beauty product location in our city called Tiber River and they will make customized labels on lip balms, lotions, etc.

We plan on having an open house the week before we leave, that way everyone has their mug for the first day! (and I don't have to pack them all in my luggage :)

Angel- What a great idea!! I've been trying to figure out a way to get the OOT gifts. The problem with the open house for us is FI family is scattered all over! Everyone is driving distance but a few hours away in different directions! I was wondering about maybe shipping them to everyone a week before the wedding but didn't know if that would be tacky...my family who lives around us I could give out at Christmas next year as we're going to be getting married January 11.....I've been arguing with myself over this for a month! smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
