Did you make the LED throwies yourself? I was looking into it, but it I think once you put them together they stay lit. Did you make them before you went down to DT or when you got there?
We did the throwies ourselves, the day before the wedding (they stay lit for like two weeks so it was fine). One suggestion - use those tiny binder clips for each one, we ran out and had to use just tape for some and they weren't as bright and flickered. Just an FYI!!

Helloooo!!!

I am a DT bride and soooo excited!! :) It's been a little difficult to navigate to page 95 of this thread, for some strange reason my computer keeps on kicking me back to page 1...so it's been a frustrating time having to hit 'stop' once the page has loaded, haha. Anyways here is my info, I am looking forward to getting a lot of planning done over Christmas break (I'm back to school on Jan. 4th). Thank you SunBride for all your hard work!! And thank you to everyone who contributes, I will try and be good and reply/check back. This is an amazing thread, I feel a lot better about planning our wedding while finishing up school.

We had out wedding May 2nd and the price per couple was about $2000 for Thursday-Monday. I am sure that you can find it a bit cheaper butnot sure if you will be able to do for $1500

For my guests, I was able to get a group rate for about 8 nights. I think some have paid around 1500 per couple for 4 nights including air from Jersey.

Why don't you try contacting one of the TA's from here for a quote?

Did it take long to make the throwies? I was looking at the directions I found and it seems easy, just a little time consuming.

There were 3 or 4 of us doing it (along with other wedding things) the day before they wedding, and I would say it took 30 minutes tops... and most of that time was spent getting the batteries out of their individual packaging! So no- if you "employ" some people to help you out, it takes no time at all!

Wow, your wedding looked absolutely amazing!! You are beautiful!! I really hope my wedding will look similar to the weddings on this website, as I have not a creative bone in my body.

I do have one question- maybe I missed it somewhere on your thread, I'm sorry if I did! What menu option did you use? I haven't seen that menu in any of the other threads or on the Dreams website. Was it the gold or silver or??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
