It's not that I don't like the Vistaprint bags. I've just done several different designs and I don't know which one to use...I have a giant box of vistaprint stuff I've done for free and I don't know what to do with it!

I haven't even thought about an event timeline or anything like that. when I come home from work, I eat, go to the gym if I'm home early enough and pass out. In the next 3 weeks I have 4 holiday parties, 2 dinners and 3 doctor appointments. I'm taking off between Xmas and New Years so I'm hoping I can get some stuff done/ordered, etc.

I just keep looking at the ticker and keep counting down the days. I just want the wedding to be here!
I had a bit of a giggle that you had your pile of vistaprint stuff and aren't sure what to do with all of it. I ordered the batch of 100 regular postcards (not realizing at the time i could have gotten 50 large ones for free instead!) for about 15 that I need to send out as reminders before our RSVP deadline. So I think what I'm going to do is use those instead to include a personal note for all our guests that have already booked when I send them the pre-wedding package of stuff (with to be determined contents!) and probably order a new batch for my reminders. Otherwise I honestly haven't come up with a whole lot of uses for vistaprint stuff yet. Maybe I just haven't mastered the art of ordering well enough! Ooh, although I think I will do up my menus in some capacity on there... just haven't figured that out yet.

And holy smokes you have a crazy busy schedule! I feel bad for having all the time that I do now! As Tracy suggested before - let us know if we can help!

Plus I had to add that last week I felt a little bit guilty when I was talking to my girlfriend who is also getting married here in the summer. She's already had a couple venue changes, stresses with her photographer etc and she asked me how my planning was going and I said "GREAT! It could be in two weeks and I'd be all ready to go, even if it means I don't have my dress!" and then I realized that maybe I shouldn't be bragging about how easy my planning has been, knowing that hers has already been a bunch of headaches. But can you believe that we're all getting to the FOUR MONTH mark now?!?!?! HOORAY!

I just keep ordering free stuff...I have at least 5 tshirsts, several hats, all different note cards, pens, mouse pads, totebags...i keep ordering them with different logos, and then they have their own palm tree thing that i've gotten too...I definitely will have enough Thank You cards and address labels...I got a coffee mug but I don't think I want to drag those down to Jamaica...every time they send me an email, I order like 4 things and do the super slow shipping and it only costs a couple of bucks.

Do you know of a avon dealer? I can try to find you one in our area.

They have their own palm tree thing?!?!?!?!?!?! Details please!

Ooooh, thank you cards! Yes I do want to do get those taken care of as well. Good reminder! I'd really like to sit down one evening and send off a zillion orders for a group of items. That way I know each bag I need to make would be taken care of. The problem is that I need at least 30-35 sets of anything I order so I'm not sure if it would work!

angie8119, when you make an account at Vistaprint they send you emails every other day with free offers. so you get the actual things, just one at a time. If I keep it up and decide on a design, I might just have enough by the wedding ; ) I think there are some BDW members that have done just that!

Hi Ladies!!! I hope everyone is doing well and that planning isn't getting the best of you :) I have a lot of catching up to do, but in the meantime can you give your opinions on this email I plan to send to my guest... I'm hoping it may encourage them to book!!!

Dear Family and Friends,

We hope you all are doing well and enjoying the holiday season.

In case you are thinking about joining us in Jamaica next April, we are

sending out a friendly reminder with the most up-to-date travel information

and rates. If you do plan to join us, we want to suggest that you secure a

room reservation as soon as possible, a small deposit holds the reservation

with the final payment being due in March. Our agent has informed us that

the room availability is declining for the dates leading up to the wedding

and the longer you wait, there is a possibility of there being no available

rooms at the resort. We have attached the travel agent's information as well

as the current guest information packet and reservation form should you

decide to contact him via e-mail. If you plan to contact him within the next

couple weeks note that he will be traveling from December 9-22, however he

will have e-mail access the entire time, with voicemail access only through

the 14th.

One final note: Passports are required for travel to Jamaica, so now would

be a great time to make sure your passport is up to date or to obtain your

passport if you don't already have one. Passport applications can be obtained and

submitted through your local Post Office, and processing time is generally 4

to 6 weeks. Detailed information on passports can be found on the US

Department of State website:

Passport Home.

One Love,

Christina and Gregory

TIA!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
