I would like to know if you can substitute services in the bridal packages. For example, my MOH is my hairstylist so I'm not going to need the hairstyle that is offered in the bridal spa package so I want to know if I can substitute it for another service.

I am not sure if this is still correct, but they had told me I could not substitute. I am wondering when you meet with the WC when you arrive at the resort, if they would be willing to switch a couple things around. I have heard from past brides that it is a lot easier to negotiate once you get down there.

Hi girls! I hope yall had a great Thanksgiving!!!! It was definitely hard to get back into the swing of things this morning! Ok, so I am a total slacker. I do have 1 excuse...my MAC broke, so I had to send it in. I have my work computer, but it is not great for updating my website or finishing my Save the Dates. So, just add all mine back on the lost for this week! I am still torn about the travel agent situation too. I am speaking with Wendy from this forum today! Hopefully, I will get some good news!

Happy Monday ladies!

 

Here's our new 2 week to-do list:

 

STARTING Friday, November 27th 2009 – ENDING Friday, December 11th 2009

We will check in with what is done either as it’s done or every other Friday and start a new list 

KittenHeart (Amy) to do’s:

1. Pay deposit to order TTD

2. Pay deposit to DJ

3. Exchange JCrew vest for smaller size

4. Go to jewelry district and get additional supplies to make jewelry and finish fascinators

5. Buy cardstock and print out OOT bag items

6. Print out guestbook tree and get supplies for it

AmyBermuda to do’s:

MrsVaughn2B (Andrea) to do’s:

1. Bridesmaid shoes - think I almost got this one down!

2. Select a cake person for my AH reception

3. Send check to photog's for payment #2 of 3

4. Order bags for OOT bags

1) SAVE the DATES!!!! Pretty much everyone knows about my wedding, but I want to make it official.

4) FINISH website!! I have started it...it is a work in progress. The only sections I have completed are the first page, "Happy Bday Marry Me," and our blog ("Keep up with us").

1. Finish getting address' for my Save the Dates (ordered this weekend)
2. Write out Christmas cards to go with the STD's.
3. Start looking for BM dresses
4. Start looking for center piece idea's/ decor idea's

Oh... I missed another one... 5. hit the gym at least 5 times this week!

I was away for work last week and feel off the wagon... hard...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
