Its not your fault - I think we can all turn a tuna sandwich conversation around so that it relates to our wedding. It usually goes something like this "mmm this sandwich is good, especially the pickle - should I serve pickles at my reception? speaking of my reception did I tell you...."

I have to tell you the group of friends we have is his and mine, we both have kept our friends. They are either divorced/unhappy married/or on their third I do, I am very cautious as to what I say and how much i say.. granted everyone is very happy for us. I just feel some raw emotions sometimes. This is why I just love this thread.. we're all on the same page giddy and happy. When we're down we can kick butt and get back on track and it's so easy to be over the top and still be consider sane... STFU Shells I am sane!! Thanks gals and *Gal... i hope he is still with us ... I will post the picture once she sends it... promise I'll send both front and back

Hi Ladies! Its funny (Susie) that you say that about feeling that you talk about your wedding all the time, I do too and so much that I am trying to stop... and reading your post reminded me thats its ok to do that on here... pfffhew!

Thanksgiving is on Thursday (I know lots of yall are Canadians- do you have any similar holiday?) and so we are off work tomorrow through Monday- yeehaw! My plan is tomorrow to write a master list of every little detail that I can think of that needs to be completed... and then to do less each night. I love the planning- especially the part about helping the guests have a good time ... but I am neglecting my FI- I sit on the computer every night. (so I want to do a little better:)

I am currently trying to figure out if we need placecards and what the benefit of table cards are... I cant remember the last wedding we went to. We are having a sit down dinner and 62 (I think)... I got from another girl off of here some place card holders that were cheap (like 4 for 1.50)- not really wanting to spend a ton of money on stuff that will only be used once. But now not sure about the table cards... are you guys having them?

I love reading about ALL of your plans (this list generates a lot of posts!)... Japan sounds awesome, ...I cant believe so many people no-showed to a wedding, and Im sorry Ms. Moulton that people are backing out... the upside of that is it lowers your costs... and probably stress level. I am very excited to see our family and friends, but know I will be thinking about them as much as us during our weekend. VDBride, hang in there with the mother in law... Im sure its less a reflection of you than of her (mothers and their baby boys ya know)...

Ok, now Im going to try and post pictures of the flower girls in their dresses :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
