knocking things off my list, yeahhh!

Recommended Posts

So awhile back I posted that I was feeling overwhelmed with still had to be done, well I am slowly, but surely depleteing my list of to do's!

I picked our rings up today, omg mine is so pretty, so much prettier then I imagined. The diamonds sparkle so much, Everton's ring is nice to but what can you say about a man's wedding band?

I went for my first dress fitting today, not much needs to be done, just shortened, and I am having the crinelin (SP) taken out and made into a slip, so I can stay cool while dancing. Oh yeah I decided to keep the train, it's not a long one and everyone thought it was just prettier with it staying. My dress was a little tight in the boob area (still fits though), good area to be tight in if it has to be tight anywhere, I figure too much upper body weights so I think I will cut back.

I finished my table favours, and place cards today, and I am almost done our welcome news letter, the menus, and our wedding timeline cards.

Tomorrow is my shower, and our girls night out, should be fun, I will try and post pictures, I think I finally figured out how to.

I still have a bunch of things left to do but at least I feel in control of things, except for my missing starfish boo hoo, I am starting to think I may actually be able to pull this off. LOL

I posted a new picture with me in it, Jaime-Lynn, just for you! You can now stop guessing what I look like!

Kelly that is the cutest pic ever! I was also wondering forever what you looked like. I guess its just natural curious habit to want to put a face to the name.

I'm glad you got so much done! It sounds like things are finally coming together. And your right, having tightness in the boob area can only be a good thing as far as I am concerned!

I figure everyone probably thought I would look like an old haggard mother of 5, grey hair, polyester pants, scrunchie, and bags under my eyes!

Okay so they would be close, I cover the grey hair, my dress probably has polyester in it, my daughters won't let me wear scrunchies, and one word for the bags under the eyes, makeup...rofl.gif

For some reason I pictured you with lighter hair. But other than that none of it shocked me. You look great! I never thought you were an old looking thing. Actually I think you look amazing. If I had a lot of kids to take care of I would look decrepit. Oh wait...that's how I look now. LOL.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
